“that’s not– well, i mean–” as much as maddie loved the holiday and wished to defend it, the male was tragically correct on the matter. people didn’t really dress in actual costumes anymore, and no one really cared about the candies except for the kids. “okay, yeah. you’re right. so… does that mean i’ll be seeing you at one of those parties then?”
