i don't feel like going into all the magic details, but generally dragons tend to be the only ones capable of changing their form. (ie having a human form for example) it's incredibly difficult for other mages, human or otherwise to do. currently orion is the only one who is able to take another form. she actually has two, a raven form which is the one she is most well known for, and then a wolf.
