Hmm. Well, I’ll always love Hayley Williams, and I’ve had a thing for Vanessa Hudgens ever since Laurel made me watch High School Musical. But I wouldn’t be really answering the question if I didn’t say something about Brendon Urie, throughout the years I’ve wanted to be him or date him pretty consistently.

Nicky has always been closer with her father, since he has always been laid back and friendly. He also supported her passion for filmmaking, whereas her mother would much rather she do something “productive” for a living. 

Nicky’s parents divorced when she was thirteen. They split fairly amicably and have both since remarried. Her mom remarried in fall of nicky’s senior year and her dad remarried two years ago. 

Nicky has an older sister Angelica, who is thirty-two, and a younger brother, Damian, who is twenty. Nicky and her sister are decently close, but the age difference between the them was just enough that they never really hung out much. However, she and Damian are closer. He went off to college in Atlanta and she stayed in Ashland, but they keep in touch.

Ash’s mom met his dad when she worked at a hospital in Portland. Lupe was a nursing student and Trevor was a medical resident. They had a brief affair full of escapades in on-call rooms and supply closets and weren’t the most careful people in the world. Trevor was married, so when he found out she was pregnant with Ash, he cut ties with them both. Scared and unsure of what to do, Lupe called her mother. Magdalena wasn’t thrilled about her daughter being an unwed mother, but the draw of a grandchild and the loss of her own husband the year prior prompted her to let Lupe move in with her in Ashland. There, the two women, along with help from their neighbors, raised Ash and made him the man he is today.
