damn, she thought to herself as she realized how silly her words sounded. biologically they were family and it had been obvious the moment her powers had been fully revealed. it had been confirmed when she said who her mother was. she was still sad she couldn’t get to know her, but at least she had her cousins. there. she felt like she could truly call them her family. “i know we are family, but when i say it like that, well,” she paused, briefly looking down and then back up to lizzie. “i actually feel like we are now. it feels good to have someone to truly call family again.”

"you know, i stand by the fact that i think my magic became somewhat more stable once i triggered my werewolf gene," she mentioned, taking a moment to catch her breath and think. it had been almost a year since she triggered it as well. so as much as it was technically a theory, it still felt real. "it's nice to not feel like i'll accidentally zap someone or something," she sighed, laughing a little. sure something still could go haywire, but in general there was more confidence about her.
