@diedinomaha asked: we walk in the dark. doesn’t mean we have to walk in it alone.
“You are right. No one who does what we do and who goes through what we do, should walk this path alone, but most of the times, I need to remind myself that it would be better if I do.” Sam shrugs is shoulders. His expression can only be read as something between slight defeat and lingering hope, which, are usually two feelings that blend very well together in his head.
“But then sometimes I look back and I think of everyone that died to help me and my brother; everyone who died because we got them into this messy life of ours; the people who died because I couldn’t accept reality or because I wanted to run away. I can’t count all the people I screwed over and I know they don’t blame me or us, but I do. I know Dean does as well even if he doesn’t say it. I just want to stop dragging people into my messes, I just want to feel like I can still save people and honestly, I haven’t felt that in a while.”
