So far the legwork hadn’t bothered her.
Taeyong certainly seemed to get around. Yako had followed him for only a few days and he had gone between the university, his bar-tending job, his home, and about half a dozen other places around the island. What he was doing going all over Yako had no idea and no interest. Or rather, she had some idea and one interest.
Being able to turn into inconspicuous animals helped a lot when one was trying to gather intel about a target. And, oh, was Taeyong ever a target.
During her time following him around, Yako had actually learned quite a bit about Taeyong. She had followed him into the library where she had learned a little about his father. She had followed him to meetings with said father, and even with a new brother that had suddenly appeared on the island as well. Besides that, Taeyong had plenty of friends that he spent time around. But they didn’t interest Yako. The way Taeyong looked at his family told Yako everything she needed to know about his sensitive spots.
And she was determined to use it.
That was why she followed Taeyong up to the mountains. It was a secluded place that he used to practice with his powers, a place where they wouldn’t be stumbled upon and where, if things turned violent, there would be plenty of space for it. But that was only if things turned violent.
Yako couldn’t help that she wanted it to turn out that way.
