Before The Beginning...
Before our story starts, we must remember our history...
My name is Toraito Griever, and I was once a Lord of all in my native land. I was one of few Howaitotaigā Akuma alive, and I was in trouble.
I'm sorry, it seems as if you do not know all of my native language, I am a White Tiger Demon of old Japan.
After realizing the true danger I had appealed to an old family friend, and by old, I mean the family. The younger man positioned to inherit their great dynasty was wary of seeing a demon on his family property, but his elder saw who I was and let me in. In short order I told them of how Nameless, the foul Kitsune who forgot who he was during the Great Wars, was after Demon Lords for their territories and their lives.
Within days they arranged to take care of my interests in Japan, and for me to take shelter in the Western half of the United States. I lived all over the Pacific coast while waiting, biding my time until it would be safe for me to return to Japan, my true home.
I waited for years, until finally I found something, no someone that made me rethink returning home. Her name is Lynne and I started to court her once she was of age. We had only met when she was sixteen. She may have been human, but I felt that she was the only one for me.
Who knew that we would have a beautiful daughter, one that would eventually have to take up my battle with the Dark Kitsune...
My Kaitlin, I hope that you can handle what I've left for you to do. I wish I could be there to aid you in your times of need.
