Baloo stooped down to look at the downed lioness, who only now seemed to be coming to. She must of cracked herself on the head good...

“---Shooby-dooby-dooby-dooby dee-d- Hey now!”

Baloo turned his gaze to a stranger who stood in the clearing down the hill. With his interest snagged, the bear began to descend the hill into the clearing, making no attempt to be stealthy.

Night in the jungle...

Having a stint of relaxed time at the far reaches of the jungle, Baloo settled himself down against a tangled seat of tree roots. Ah, this was the life. 

It was always refreshing to kick back in a different place from time to time and this part of the jungle was certainly delivering. Yet as the bear settled in for the night, he quickly shot back up into a sitting position. 

Something was moving in the brush right ahead of him...and its shining eyes were staring right out at him.
