silvyfish answered:
15. We’ve been turned into frogs!
Nell regarded the round, green creature before him with wide, disbelieving eyes that shimmered bronzy-green, and blinked with a thin, pale membrane. “Yerra frog, Shar," He announced in a croak, which seemed to startle him, as he gave a short and contained jump in place before flicking a long tongue out over one eye. It was reflex, and yet not his, and this was all the more disturbing as he realized that the woman had not been turned into a person-sized frog, and in fact, he was the one made the same height as her.
Panic would come later. In that moment, Shar attempted to be reasonable. Her tongue shot out as well, but not to touch a yellow-green eye. She handily captured a fly, which, quick as a whip, disappeared into her mouth. Something about the severity of their situation failed to... register. A small bump beneath her white throat bobbed up and down as she swallowed. 'This is going to be a problem,' she decided, eerily calm about the whole mess.
"Well," she croaked back, considering. The 'woman' gave a little hop of her own. "Am I at least a pretty shade of green?"
