Simon stayed by Gotrik’s side through everything. No matter what came the boy never turned against Gotrik or left his side. As things got more serious with the war being declared he would often beg Gotrik to leave, to hide and get away from it before it was too late. But the man had pride and power. And he fought very well. But as his powers weakened Simon could tell he was worried. He never said anything, but he knew it was there. 

Over the years the neko began to formulate a plan. and when the time came it was put into place. When Krovs fell and Gotrik taken he took status as a master. He then claimed Gotrik so the man would never have to bend a knee to anyone nor be taken advantage of by enemies. Of course inside the suite Gotrik held the actually power, and only outside of the suite did Simon play the role of master.

Simon is pretty friendly so unless he got a bad feeling from someone he is generally trusting. Not a deep trust like with Yuri or Gotrik, but he would accept a gift. And he’d be nice to them and work on becoming friends.
