“Been a good while since I actually had a good fight.” Wulfenite started, eyes following the rhythmical motion of his hand gradually being bandages. Over, and over. Over, and under. Under, and under. Fresh white bandages gradually began to cover his rough, strong hands. “I mean, sure, cracked gemstones, auld allies, they put up a good struggle. Though for the most part, they’re all but beasts. Surviving on primal instinct ‘lone.”
Over, and under. Over, and under.
“It shames me t’say it, Garnet. But they’re no longer in their prime. I canny help but feel disappointed that as cracked, malformed monsters, they are weaker than the brilliant gemstones that had served under me.” The gemstone explained. It hurt him. Disappointed him that this had become of his Wulfpack. Almost as much as the fact that due to the constant hunting of these creatures, Wulf hadn’t have the chance to truly push himself.
Over, and under. Over, and done. There was one hand bandaged.
As Wulf bandaged his other hand, he shot a glance up at the taller, maroon gemstone. “I appreciate this, mind ya. Really do. Need a break from huntin’ down the poor souls. And what better way to have a break, is to be bleeding broken and bloodied.” In truth, it was all he really knew. Going up against forces greater than him, and coming out on top. Though his cracked packmates? They where no longer his equal in strength and skill. As stated before, the only thing they knew was primal instinct.
“Regardless, I truly do appreciate this.” Wulf finished, flexing his fingers. Aye, those bandages would soften the impact. As the gemstone stood up, a hand washed over the rest of the solid-light-formed armour over his body, allowing it to wash away in a display of cinders. Beneath it? Cloth. Loose and bare. Perfect for this sparring session. Pulling down his scarf, and tossing it aside, Wulfenite’s attention was soon focused on Garnet.
“Means a lot. Really, it does.”
