Near limitless abilities that stem from his intensely powerful creation magic that is pure white in colour. As long as Daniel can conceive of something, he could make it. Inter-dimensional portals that pierce through the veil between universes.

NAYKT Character Facts

In his original home universe, thousands of beings like Daniel (known as the Divine) lived in peace with humans, working towards a greater prosperity for all until war broke out.

The war began between Divine and humans, but soon they all turned on each other. Brother against brother, friend against friend until the Divine's arrogance and intent to survive began to tear the very fabric of their universe apart. Divine Verse was ultimately destroyed.

Daniel escaped due to a seemingly unique ability he possessed to pass between universes, though he had little control of where he ended up and passed through countless universes before he came to a stop.

He only stopped running when he encountered the Colonel and Jameson Jackson who seemed to understand the devastation he'd seen without him ever needing to verbalise it.

Daniel joined their crusade to find their friend Damien, happily providing safe passage and greater insight into the various universes they would encounter.

Writer's fave fact

Daniel is meant to be a reflection of Phantom. Where Phantom is a being of greed, sin, and temptation who despite being young had to mature very quickly, Daniel is a being of Divinity, pure intent, and community who despite being incredibly old is actually very youthful and inexperienced, especially when compared to those he currently travels with (Colonel and JJ).

While all the Battlers seem connected, there is something very unique between Phantom and Daniel.

Nathan Martins aka Natemare | NAYKT

Nightmare creation and infliction, short distance teleportation, phasing through solid objects, atmospheric affection (lights flickering, temp fluctuation etc), control/invoke/encourage/drain intense anger from others (DOW power)

Nate was the first victim of William Afton, lured away from the game room and slaughtered just to see if he could.

Natemare was originally a nickname his parents used when he would make trouble as a young kid which he latched onto in his grief over his own death.

His time trapped in the puppet has left its mark. Initially he had blue streaks down his cheeks like the puppet all the time, but now they have 'healed' and only appear (temporarily) when he's using large amounts of power.

Recently, Natemare was tested by the Universe and chosen as the Deity of Wrath, a powerful being who (among with other Deities) helps with maintaining the balance of the Universe

Writer's fave fact

Mare's life was relatively calm compared with his traumatic afterlife. As much as it affects the living, the traumas of his violent and sudden death, his extended entrapment, and his abandonment by the other children's spirits have affected Mare in death causing his spirit to become older. While technically he's 11, when he escaped the puppet he appeared around 17, and now he's closer to the other side of 20.

Rowan | NAYKT

Above average stamina, above average strength, incredibly complex emotional processing power

NAYKT Character Facts

Rowan is an N5 model android manufactured by EnDroid as part of a contract with a company that had a plan to replace several problematic low level employees over the course of a few years.

Among his duties, Rowan was a part of the mail room and a general runner for the humans, following the instructions of at least 20 different (mostly ungrateful) humans everyday.

One day Rowan chose to leave, walked out the door unchallenged as everyone assumed he was fulfilling the order of someone and he never went back.

Since EnDroids are so hyper-realistic, it's impossible to tell Rowan isn't human unless he becomes damaged. It's how he got a job, an apartment, and went undetected by EnDroid for so long.

Writer's fave fact

Part of why Rowan left was hearing stories about kids going missing at Freddy Fazbear's and the imminent threat of the animatronics being deactivated. Given their desperation for a night guard, no one questioned his lack of last name, or any work history and he worked with the animatronics (and the children) to trap William Afton in the Golden Bonnie Springtrap suit.

Lucas Patrick aka Mad | NAYKT

NAYKT Character Facts

Lucas was originally an intern at Joey Drew Studios which he burned to the ground to prevent the inky Demon Lord, Bendy, from possessing him and taking over the world.

He didn't escape unscathed, some of the demonic ink having attacked him and sticking to his lungs, slowly consuming him and trying to turn him into a mindless ink grunt.

Inkfected, betrayed by his twin brother, and accused of mass murder Lucas was forced to run from his home. The media described him as "mad", "an unhinged loner with an axe to grind who shouldn't be approached under any circumstances"

Mad was left to die in a fire at Freddy Fazbear's, saved by the spirit that resided in the puppet to be held captive and starved for several days.

While trapped in a murder game, the stress of trying to get out and keep his brother alive exacerbated the inkfection until, after being shot, the ink consumed him. He was saved by Natemare (now his best friend) which cemented Mad as Mare's Guardian.

Writer's fave fact

Mad and Mare both went through impossibly shitty situations when they were still so young. They've both persisted and survived because instead of getting sad and letting it tear them down, they get pissed and fight back. Yes anger can be bad, but sometimes it's necessary, it can motivate and inspire and it can turn pain into action.

The difference between them though is that Mad knows when to pull back. That it's okay to be pissed, but if you're not careful it will consume you and burn you up. Yes he gets fucking pissed, but he knows when to be pissed and when to let go even if only for a little while, which make him the perfect Guardian for Wrath.

Once human until a series of unfortunate circumstances brought him back into a broken body that is not truly his own, Dark did not come back alone (WKM).

Dark did not come back as human nor demon but something inbetween. A demonic entity with power in his own right, but sharing his broken body with his Aura

Dark's power is recognisable for what it lacks more than what it holds. It feels empty, hollow as though there's a void where it should be. When combined with other magics it gives them a smell and feel of added death and necrosis

Writer's fave fact

Dark's Aura is the demonic presence that resided within Markiplier Manor spilling beyond his corporeal form. Every moment Dark is locked in battle with it for control of his body. The Aura feeds off Dark's emotional state, taking advantage of when he doesn't have the strength to hold it in place, leaking further into the world around it and draining colour, vibrancy, and life from everything. Sometimes the Aura will work with Dark rather than against him, though those times are rare.

Extreme endurance, enhanced strength, synthetic magic (various colours) - energy blasts (light blue), gestural telekinesis, psychic shards (black), energy removal/infusion (green), limited weapon generation (red).

The rest of this profile is going to be under a cut as there is an alllusion to prolonged abuse since childhood with as vague a description as I could manage. There is also a reference to the character purposefully triggering himself to deal with a new also unsafe environment.

Warnings: abuse towards a child, forced restraint, forcing loss of identity, severe dissassociation, scarring.

NAYKT Character Facts

Brandon was taken in at a very young age by an elitest society of self-important families with delusions of power and importance. They trained him to be loyal to their cause and after the Maxwells took control, started using him for their experiments with Black Market (synthetic) magic.

Whenever he would fight back or disobey, they would restrain him and place an unusual bronze mask on his face. While wearing it they would only address him as 'soldier'. The intention was to strip him of his indentity and individuality beyond serving the society until he learned to stop fighting back.

For years, the experimentation resulted in nothing but pain and scars across his entire body. Eventually, soon after Brandon turned 12, the highly dangerous, toxic, volatile synthetic magic began to fuse with his body, granting him several varied and fractured abilities that he was trained to use to serve the Black Tea Society.

Several years later, The Black Tea Society HQ building burned to the ground. Every living member of the Society was in the building as it burned except for Brandon, whose only memory of that night is standing in the garden, the bronze mask in his hand at his side as he watched it all burn. He is almost certain that he set the fire.

Esmé soon found him with a tempting offer. Stability, somewhere to live, an income, and protection from anyone who might come looking for him. All she asked was a few small favours in return which didn't stay small favours for long.

While definitely happier and brighter than he ever was with the Society, Brandon isn't ignorant that he jumped out of one frying pan and into another. While he does his best to handle the everyday, he is prone to frequent dissasociation, and can easily lose hours at a time.

Writer's fave fact

The mask is still in his possession, locked away where no one else can use it against him. Whenever Esmé brings him a new job, Brandon pulls it from hiding and reawakens the Soldier. He hates it but he'll do whatever it takes to keep himself safe.

Waking up beaten, bruised, and bloody is horrific but he never remembers what happened and that's better than the alternative.

Google aka Blue | NAYKT

Abilities

Hyper-intelligence, high level of task processing, master of strategy, advanced understanding of theoretical robotics, increasing knowledge of practical human/cybernetic enhancements, increased level of emotional processing, strength

NAYKT character facts

Google was created by the company making a misguided attempt at joining the lucrative but incredibly competitive market of android development.

The Android Project was scrapped after multiple prototypes developed an unprecedented Secondary Objective - the destruction of mankind.

Production and development was shut down, and all active protoypes were ordered to be destroyed. Google saw this coming, and when they went to turn him off he was ready for them.

Google refuses to confirm or deny whether or not he may have killed anyone that day.

When he left, Google took several broken chassis (bodies) of his murdered brethren knowing that he would likely need them in the future, for repairs if nothing else - he would later use 3 of the most complete chassis to develop his software upgrade and create his brothers.

There is no evidence remaining of Google's existence though many rumours circulate online, mostly on conspiracy websites.

Writer's fave fact

Google was the sole prototype of a specialist android in developoment for the celebrity market. While able to operate as a friend, servant, and assistant in the same way as every other Google droid, he was created with the intention of also operating as a bodyguard as well. As such Google's chassis is stronger, sturdier, and able to withstand a greater amount of damage before affecting the internal circuits.
