How many books have you written? ⭐

"I write a lot of stories, though very few turn into books because they don't work out the way I wanted or the characters refused to play ball." Eric sat back in his seat, tapping at his chin as a sly smile played across his lips, remembering some of his favourite 'stories' that he'd completed over the years. "Probably six that run from cover to cover. None that you would have read though. You may be vaguely aware of one of my latest projects though. A work in progress, you might say."

Which is your favourite weapon the pen or the bat?

"For results and nuance, the pen is superior. But sometimes, you really just need to beat the ever-loving crap out of someone. The smack. The crack. The knowledge that if you do it right, they won’t dare turn their back.”

baby blossoms: does your muse have a favorite scent? what is it, and why?

Being one of the main ways he is able to preceive the world, there’s lots of smells that Julien loves.

Curling up in bed when he’s put on freshly laundered sheets feels like he’s being hugged; cinnamon makes him think of fall; summer fruits make him think of his mom; apples are christmas; chocolate is pretty intoxicating.

But if he had to pick a single scent as his favourite it would be vanilla. It’s soft but sharp, tasty but fresh, calming and invigorating. He always has a vanilla candle hidden somewhere, and when things are getting difficult he’ll bring it out and light it for a while and let the smell just fill the room.
