There was a soft sigh on Judy's lips as her arms found their way around Nick's torso, pulling him into a tight hug.
The fox smiled warmly, returning the hug by wrapping one arm around Judy’s shoulder and the other lying over her head, his paw placed between her ears as he gently stroked a small patch behind one of them.
He let out a long sigh of contentment as he embraced the bunny, as if he’d not hugged her in a long, long while. He took in her earthy scent, with a hint of lavender and fresh linen. He simpered even more, and opened his eyes to look down at his bunny.
“Hey, Carrots.”
