After a peaceful day out with Minji, the elder brother getting more and more acquainted with his little sister, it was high time they returned to the shop of their /Mother/ for the beginning of his shift that evening. The little one had offered to stay with him and keep him company, a thought that pleased him very much. At least she’d be looked after, the sour thought crossed his mind as he ruffled the girl’s hair with a gentle warm palm. A chuckle ringing through from him as he watched Agni wiggle in his sister’s hold and make himself home in her embrace. The walk was quiet, just two souls absorbing the sun’s rays as the last few lights of day before they were encased in the dim shop once more.
“She really ought to brighten the place, is all I’m sayin’.” Celosia rumbled, on his tirade about the woman all over again as he shrugged his shoulders aimlessly. “How is anyone supposed to know what’s what if they can’t read the labels? Not my job to educate the masses.” This earned a laugh from the child, brightening the smile up the elder siblings face as he reached for the doorknob of the shop, twisting it open to let her and his black polecat slip inside first, before following behind. He brushed the door closed behind him, slipping his purse off to set it to the counter as Minji bounced towards the curtain leading to the back to find Agni a treat.
“C-Celly.” Minji’s tone drew his like a shadow to her side, protective big brother mode switching on as he stepped up behind her. But what his eyes found was beyond amusing. “She couldn’t even have the decency to keep it out of the workplace, mmn.” Three sets of eyes stared at the half dressed God caught by the offsprings standing there in the doorway. One from the familiar in the youngest one’s hand; a second from the innocent child that had seen far too much of this to know without knowing. And finally Celosia’s own pair, a smug grin curled up his features as he crossed his arms over his chest.
