"Me? You're talkin' to me?" Junpei pointed to himself, looking around the dorm and realized that Koromaru was the only other person in the living room. And Junpei knew that if Makoto was talking to Koromaru, he'd pet his fur and taking him out on a walk. ...right? Junpei grinned and used his finger to scratched his cheek sheepishly.

"I'm trying to make up for the times I was a dick and ass to you when you started leading us. I wanna make sure I have everyone's back--even if I am not that fast as Akihiko-san or smart like Mitsuru-senpai." Junpei explained, knowing full well he was used to wanting to be strong and not anything else. Of course, he wanted to thank Chidori for bringing him back to reality and knocking some sense back into him--or whatever was left in his brain.

Junpei leaned back on the couch and eyed the blue haired leader with careful eyes. "If I got your back, will you have mine?"

   “Hey Yuka-tan--” Junpei poked at the archer’s cheek, a grin drawing big on his lips, “--I was wondering: are you free today? I thought we could hang out, or something, since we’ve been super busy with our jobs and such.” He pulled away from Yukari’s cheek and crossed his arms. “Don’t give me that look! Besides, I’ll pay.”

Junpei was a bit confused, and a little bit surprised, to see Shinjiro fucking Aragaki talking to him. He could have sworn he would have gone to Akihiko or Mitsuru or, hell, the leader of SEES and yet... ...this got Junpei staring at him like he was asking him a stupid question and wondering if he should respond with a stupid answer.

"Me?" He pointed to himself, double checking his surroundings, and knew Shinjiro was talking to him. And ONLY him. "Dude, I may complain about doing things, but it must be a big damn deal if you have to come to me for help."

To be fair, this was making him want to help his senpai out even more. Junpei wanted to know what was going on his mind--did he truly want to find out?--but he pushed himself off the bench on the second floor and crossed his arms. "Shoot. I pinky promise I won't make a big deal. Though," he leaned in towards Shinjiro and cupped his hand around his ear, "if you've gotta let me know, then my right ear is allll yours, Shinjiro-san!"

Junpei shook his head, taking the bridge of his thumb and wiping away the blood that was on his cheek. Hell, at this point he wasn't even sure if it was his blood or the shadow's blood. This one night in Tartarus was something he needed for days. It was as if he had been so frustrated with everything going on during the July full moon bosses.

"It's just a little blood--I'm fine!" He loudly said, making sure that their leader, Yukari, and Akihiko was fully aware of what he was saying. Of course, Junpei was oblivious to the blood belonging to him. He began to charge at the last shadow, weakened thanks to Akihiko's punches, and squinted tightly as he swung as hard as he could to take the shadow down.

"Swiiiiiiing--" Junpei opened his eyes and fell back as he missed the shadow completely. "--I missed?!" He tried to reach for his sword, not realizing that he dropped it a considerable distance away. Junpei winced and lowered his head in pain and anger.

   Junpei might have let out a small squeak of happiness once Rise told him to call her Risette. “Oh! So. DAMN. CUTE!” He coughed as he tried to retain whatever form he had left as a human being. Junpei had to think if he had saw someone else dressed in red or green--he gave her a small frown and shook his head. “The last thing I remember doing...was getting a snack from the snack machine, once I got off the train.”

   He crossed his arms, wondering if they were her friends. “But, I am sure that they aren’t too far--I mean, I wouldn’t know why someone would leave you alone. Maybe I should stay by you, just in case.” He winked, horribly, as he just simple blinked with both eyes instead of just the one. Junpei was becoming a klutz and failing at keeping face with Rise. “I don’t even know what’s around here in Inaba, to be honest.”
