The peppering sound of raindrops cover his quick steps. The shaking trees cast shadows that cloak and hide the thief, allowing his escape to become completely unnoticeable. The creaks of stepped branches mean nothing as he moves too fast for untrained eyes to spot anyway.
Gaius creeps across the forest like a big feline, making his way back to the camp. Some were worried about letting him go alone, but Robin knew how to trust and Gaius knew how to not disappoint.
Arriving at the tent, he carefully pulls open the lid, lowering his hood and avoiding stepping too further in lest he drenches everything in the makeshift meeting room.
From inside his satchel, he pulls out a notebook stacked with several papers. He presents it to Chrom and his Tactician.
"They're gonna realize this went missing soon so I think we should be quick. Bubbles would know better though."
Then, empty hand stretches out to the Prince Exalt, palm upwards as if waiting to receive something.
"Payment?" he wiggles his fingers, opening up a smirk. "You can be generous. No one saw me or my shadow not even once. I'm practically a ghost!"
