"Who told you that?" The reply snaps like a ruler on a table. Emerald gaze snapping with utmost scrutiny on the other agent. There's immediate distrust. Not yet a cornered animal, but Wylan isn't taking chances.

"That was supposed to be hush hush. And what do you mean as well? Who else is going? Are you? Fuck no. Sae was going to be wearing a new swimsuit and that is for my eyes only. I will kill all of you."

[W-Wylan? I think that's being a little dramatic. I don't think Chrom would want to go there anyway.]

Lyla, this is life or death. We still don't know what that suit looks like and collateral damage must be kept to a minimum.

The psyncer shakes his head, lifting his gaze to address Chrom once more. Maybe this time it's a little less aggressive.

"You're a smart guy, Chrom. I know you'll make the right choices."

Chrom looks at his hunter watch and back at the young man in front of him. Was he the client? "Akira, right?" he got closer to check. "I'm Chrom, a hunter from the hunter association. Sorry, I know you were expecting Yeong but she got an urgent mission to take. She transferred your mission to me. How can I help?" [hi~]

They knew it was going to happen, but this still was bad...! Heart beating loudly in their chest upon being called, the man in front of them not only handsome but also carrying a rather serious face, and...perhaps this was for the better. Yeong might've been able to figure them out. If it was a stranger, then...ugh, but their jacket was torn and while Sakitty was staying in their arms obediently it was obvious it was still rather agitated. 'Sorry, it must've been a false alarm...'. 'I thought I saw something, but it looks like I'm wrong. Sorry for wasting your time'. Things like that...

Their gaze shifts to a side alley, the one Bradley had been dashing through a moment before, with Akira none the wiser if he was escaping the hunters or chasing after someone. "Um...yeah. I'm Masaki Akira, thank you for responding", and then there was the part of Yeong having an urgent mission. The nervousness of knowing they're about to withhold information now mingled with the concern for what she's doing. If it was urgent, then it was dangerous...or maybe not...

"There-there was a wanderer, that's why I called", so far the truth. Alerted to it first by Sakitty's reaction, even though it had taken them a moment longer to notice it themself, the surprise and fear quickly overwhelmed by Bradley's sudden appearance and rescue. But admitting they knew a wanted criminal was hardly something that would go well. "I thought I'd call and try to escape, but...someone saved me and defeated it. I-I've never seen them before and they left before I could ask for their name, though", it's slightly rushed, and they pray it would be excused by the very clearly stressful situation they had been in. "So...that's why...um, I hope I haven't wasted too much of your time..."

The pause that follows isn't long enough to give him a chance to speak, however. "I understand you might not be able to tell me, and that I'm asking for too much, but Yeong's my friend...um...is her mission dangerous...?"

The peppering sound of raindrops cover his quick steps. The shaking trees cast shadows that cloak and hide the thief, allowing his escape to become completely unnoticeable. The creaks of stepped branches mean nothing as he moves too fast for untrained eyes to spot anyway.

Gaius creeps across the forest like a big feline, making his way back to the camp. Some were worried about letting him go alone, but Robin knew how to trust and Gaius knew how to not disappoint.

Arriving at the tent, he carefully pulls open the lid, lowering his hood and avoiding stepping too further in lest he drenches everything in the makeshift meeting room.

From inside his satchel, he pulls out a notebook stacked with several papers. He presents it to Chrom and his Tactician.

"They're gonna realize this went missing soon so I think we should be quick. Bubbles would know better though."

Then, empty hand stretches out to the Prince Exalt, palm upwards as if waiting to receive something.

"Payment?" he wiggles his fingers, opening up a smirk. "You can be generous. No one saw me or my shadow not even once. I'm practically a ghost!"

The Shepherds were enjoying a visit from a quite popular caravan of players...one with whom Erin was intimately familiar. Twas in fact Sawyer Kissa and her husband, Daniel, and their lovely family, her big sister and other siblings, and the various others that had been attracted to her sister's light and wished to bask in its warmth and benefit from its reflected radiance. The mercenary group was enjoying it immensely. Erin was...taking time for herself more often than usual. Everyone loved Sawyer, as ever. Perfect, graceful, sweet, patient, lovely Sawyer...

Tonight was a party. There'd been a lot of those. Joyous occasions, music and food and skits. But tonight Erin was outside camp, shaking.

Tonight she'd made the requisite visit to the wagon her father lived in, and tonight she needed...recovery.

"What I like about you?" he moves the tea cup away from his lips, a little bit surprised by that question. They've known each other for a while now. "Let's see ... well, the first thing that comes to my mind is how honest you are." he took a sip from his tea. "Your honesty is something to admire, Isaac. Few people can remain sincere and honest in all times. Does this answer suffice?"

Chrom's answer touched Isaac. With how deceitful he had to be on missions most of the time he had trouble thinking of himself as honest some days.

"Yes, thank you. It does." He replied with a soft smile, taking a sip of his own tea. "To keep things fair, what I like about you is your sense of justice. You try so hard to protect the weak and abused. It'd be easy for you to turn a blind eye to it all, stay in the walls of your castle and pretend it doesn't exist. But here you are, leading the Shepherds around the country and offering all the help you can."
