Special Rules for Cole:

I have him listed as ‘selective’ contrasted to other muses because with just... How he is and how I want to play him. This might change later, but I want to get an accurate feel for his uncanny ability to find the things that the spirit of compassion is drawn to. 

What this means is that I have to pay a lot more attention to my RP partners’ threads, headcanons, and everything else. It’s easy for muses that are also interacting with my other muses, as I’ll have a better idea of them and can get good ideas from the occasional dash reading instead of deep diving for each reply. 

So to keep it simple: Cole is reserved for muses who are RPing with another muse of mine. If I’m super familiar with the mun’s other muses, I might be able to get a good feel with the muse in question, and it’s hit or miss with canon muses. 

I’ll still try to pop in with some memes for mutuals in general, but while I love him, he’s harder to keep up with people I don’t interact with as much.

If you specifically want to plot something with Cole, however, let me know. Even if we haven’t interacted too much, knowing you want to RP with him will help me.

“You were not there, Cindy...” Ignis shook his head, hands laced tightly together as if afraid he would do something terrible with them. “The things I could have done. Terrible things...”

the moment the boats from Port Ormos began to dock , Ayato was standing at the ready in Ritou to recieve their honored guests from afar . He had managed to hire talent from abroad for this festival's sake , and was lucky enough yo have overheard his beloved sister speaking quite highly of a Sumeru theater , Zubayr as he recalls it . A few talents and stage hands exited the boat , but it was one red haired woman who was dressed for the part already who had caught his gaze .

It was in her step , the graceful walk across the dockside otogi , but also the way the calmer waters did gently ripple beneath every step... then he noticed , she bore a hydro vision just as he did , a sign of her dedication to her craft . Immediately Ayato would approach her , bypassing the theater manager and stepping forward , hands clasped together and bow every present .

" welcome to Inazuma , on behalf of the Shogunate and the Yashiro Commission , I am Kamisato Ayato , and I am at your service during your time here for hosting your arts at our festival this year , " his charming smile would appear as he rose from his bow .

     Adrenaline coursed through the teen as she pushed her bike, with a little too much force, against the side of the cabin and hurried in, her eyes bright with excitement. “Dinosaur!” she exclaimed, calling out to whoever might be inside and within ear-shot. It had been a while since the teen had showed such a level of engagement with life near the cabin. She enjoyed spending time with Owen, learning how to chop wood and other tricks that she thought were very impressive, and Claire was caring and gave her all she needed and wanted (except freedom to roam as far as she wished) but growing older came with new challenges, especially when she felt she was still being treated like a little kid. 

     The discovery of a dinosaur that had interacted with her while she cycled alone had momentarily brightened the girl’s outlook. “I didn’t go looking for it,” a half truth - she didn’t know that particular dinosaur existed, but if she didn’t keep an eye out for them there wasn’t much entertainment near the cabin. Not unless she broke the number 1 rule and went past the bridge, “It just appeared, and it interacted with me. It listened to me!” 

     After dumping her jacket on her bed, Maisie tracked down Claire, still rambling enthusiastically about the dinosaur, “I don’t know how exactly, but I put my arm out, just like Owen does, and it stopped baring it’s teeth and just sort of stared at me. Then, I told it to back off, and it did!” She grinned, proud of herself. “Does this mean I can come with you or Owen on dinosaur rescue missions? I know you think I’m safer here, but I can help. I want to help!”

     A scowl furrowed the girl’s brow, brown eyes glaring ahead as she peddled as ferociously as she could manage, away from the cabin and towards the town and what felt like freedom. 

     Maisie couldn’t stay with them anymore. Her not-parents. The suffocating obsession they had with her staying close to home had grown unbearable. It wouldn’t be her home any longer. They didn’t understand, couldn’t understand how awful it felt to be trapped. The explanations of protection and safety had grown old after her preteen years and the girl wanted to experience more. 

     Reaching a hand into her pocket, her eyes bulged when she found no tiny scrap of paper there with the address of her planned escape. She had left in a hurry, having fought terribly with Claire and Owen over the rules they had put in place to ‘protect’ her, as well as their disagreement over her choices to allow herself to help others, to make a difference. Although she considered cycling back for it, she kept on going, knowing the address off by heart by now. Besides, Claire and Owen weren’t her legal parents, they wouldn’t be able to force her back with them, not without her putting up a fight. Why should it matter to them what she chose to do with her own DNA? It was her own decision to help Dr. Brooks. He was kind, he didn’t smother her or try to control her, he simply offered her a way to help, to eventually travel with him back to his lab in the city and become somebody. Somebody who made a difference.

     Squeezing the breaks as she reached the apartment Dr. Brooks was staying at, she glanced around her, a little shifty. Although she’d left in a hurry, with only her backpack filled with some of her most important belongings, and had waited until Owen was out on a dinosaur rescue mission and Claire was busy elsewhere in the house, she felt anxious with the thought they could try to stop her. A part of her wondered whether she might subconsciously want them to come after her, to prove they cared, but she shook the thoughts from her head and leant her bike against the side of the apartment, fully committing herself to the new life she had chosen.
