When Vik was seven, they were playing in the woods at a cottage their family has for summer vacations and one of the kids pushed them a little too hard and they fell back into a river which had a pretty heavy current for that time of the year. Viktor can’t swim so they got pulled down by the water and to this day, they are terrified of rivers (or anything that has a really strong current, including waterfalls)
