Aftermath to the Truth (closed with @valorandgold)

Mia Fey couldn’t help but sit quietly in Trucy’s car as her sister drove her home with all of the groceries that she had picked up following lunch with her parents. Her head was still reeling from everything that had happened in the last couple of hours. Mia felt like her head was just going to explode from everything she had learned.
Running smack into her biological father outside of the prosecutor’s offices had been monumental enough for one day, not to mention how she had spent the following two hours or so breaking open her first psyche-locks and learning the truth about why her father left them all those years ago.
When she arrived at the two story house where she lived part-time with her parents and little brother, she was grateful for the handles on the bags of groceries so that she could hold them over her arms while she unlocked the front door. Her father’s red convertible was in the driveway, but she couldn’t tell if her mom’s mini-van was in the garage or not.
Stepping into the house, she could hear the TV on, and the familiar sounds of “The Steel Samurai” playing in the living room. Sliding off her sandals, she walked further into the house. There, sitting on the couch, was her Papa.
“Hi Papa,” Mia greeted with a smile as she made her way into the kitchen to put away the groceries. “Where are Mom and Marshall?”
