Brains:I don’t know any brain, regretfully. It’s probably a paradox to say attractive and Brain. Brush your hair from time to time, losers.

Hipsters:Damn it, most of them. Don’t tell Marnie. Probably the top of the list would be Jade Panda.

Art Geeks:The artists? Nobody in particular, though there’s nothing as freaky as fucking an actress.

Burnouts:Rafael (am I sorry?) and Alaska (no, I’m not)

Charlies:What the fuck’s a Charlie to begin with?

More work with freelancer. Another interview, though he had suspected that they went unread back at the ONI office back on Earth. He was refused access to anyone that mattered, still, beyond candid conversation (which, even then, he didn’t really get. There was certainly a stigma around him). So, here he was, with another decent enough operator, sitting down to have a conversation that he figured meant nothing.

“Agent Alaska, this conversation will be recorded. Speaking slowly and clearly, and make sure to project your voice for optimal quality. Are you ready?” He spoke in a voice only inches past monotone. The words are not his own, and it’s clear as they pour out of the speakers that lie in his helmet’s intakes.

There is something I’m deeply fascinated about when it comes to a girl who isn’t attracted to Jamie while he is attracted to her. IC, that rarely happens, and the fact that Alaska is not somebody popular makes it all so much better. It’s subtle and uncertain and I, for one, like it, not as an actual ship, rather than in a lowkey ‘unrequited love’ plot that we already have going on. The sort of little crush that doesn’t affect any parties, but doesn’t quite go away either. It’s not OTP and it’s not BROTP, rather than neither at the same time as something in between. For once, it’s enough for me and I wouldn’t see it going either route, preferring it exactly how we left it.
