personality: Cheren is quiet. He carries a sense of inability to belong to any one organization or group due to personal issues of self-worth regarding his internal debate on whether or not he was fit to be champion. In recent days, Cheren has considered becoming Champion to become an agent of change && honesty in Unova, particularly because of Ghestis. He’s generally very mild-mannered to strangers, but has a rather sharp tongue to those who get on his bad side.
background: Time was a transient force. The ebb && flow constantly sent the world asunder, the subtle changes && manipulations stirring the world like a tempest in a teapot. Cheren, for as long as he could remember, wanted to open the secrets of that jar, to unearth the truth, the existence of time itself. He considered himself firmly rooted in reality - everything had an explanation. Nothing could defy that, he thought. Bianca && Touko were the first to understand him. Though their hearts && minds aligned differently, Cheren knew they wouldn’t belittle his dreams like fine paper. They were honest with him, && he loved them - as deeply as any child might - in the way he loved his parents. He thought of them as the best of friends, the trio that would one day discover the mysteries. Starting with how Bianca could never be on time. That would be a fine mystery to discover. Cheren began his journey with the two best friends anyone could ask for. Touko && Bianca, honest && truthful. But he was easily jealous, of Touko, for her easy strength. Of Bianca, who loves so easily, as though the world deserved her love. He followed them, always feeling a step behind. He wanted to be Champion. To rise to the furthest heights. In the end, he let that dream slip through his fingers. It wasn’t his dream to have, when he had no true designs to become a champion, had no idea what becoming a champion would entail. He let the dream go. Too late. He only arrived in the aftermath. If he had been able to protect her. A quiet, hollow shell, Touko was nothing of the bright, vivacious young woman he had known, once upon a time. He couldn’t help her. All her spark, faded. && he could do nothing to stop it. In the end, he received a request from a strange man named Looker. A request from Touko, to fulfil a mission she could not. He wanted to help her, but how could he not?
abilities: Cheren possesses the ability to accurately and repeatedly use metronome to devastating effect.

But Team Guardian isn’t exactly that well known yet, so there’s little chance that he’s gotten a call about them yet. Though they have been featured briefly on the news in the sense that all the people with strange pins have to have been noticed by this point.

personality:
Celosia has a bad attitude. She is known to go looking for things she can use to bring others down. It should also be known that she can be quite sly, and has even tried to blackmail others into doing what she wants them to do. This makes her a deadly mistress to most, but an asset to Team Flare.
However, her fatal flaw is her own self-loathing, and when she fails at a task, she breaks down into tears and goes on about how ‘lame’ she is. She often second guesses herself, and becomes rather hesitant to jump into action.
background:
Celosia’s parents divorced when she was rather young, and she lived with her father for most of her childhood. However, when she came of age, she moved into her mother’s house. The two would argue about basically everything, and eventually Celosia ran away, joining a small crime network.
One day, the police caught her, and she was arrested. Her jail time was short-lived, though, after Lysandre made her an offer: commit herself to his “charity organization” and he’d bail her out. Said organization would eventually become Team Flare.
Things seemed somewhat tame until they started refurbishing the Ultimate Weapon. The plan was to kill everyone outside of Team Flare, and she followed along with the scheme. The plan failed, thanks to a couple of kids, and Lysandre was found dead in Geosenge.
To this day, Celosia works underground for Flare.

personality:
Iris is a kid-at-heart with a generous personality. Despite spending a lot of her younger years feeling the pressing need to act older than her age, one of the things she learned growing up is that being a kid is perfectly okay at the right time and place. Even though Iris is mature and strong now, she still generally caries an upbeat attitude highlighted by seemingly endless confidence and optimism that was—let’s face it—actually well earned.
Because of this attitude though, Iris often slips under the radar—and that’s okay! People who know her, know her, and in her opinion, those who don’t are perfectly fine. She actually finds it to be a relief that people don’t expect her to be a Champion on a daily basis, particularly since the Champion lifestyle is otherwise so different from the way she grew up.
Regardless of what people think of her, Iris is quick to spring into action when someone needs help, whether that help be a meal for the family or needing to beat down some thieves. Sure, sometimes she’s tempted by the idea of revenge or letting people get their just deserts, but she’s learned that to be a true master—of dragons or otherwise—you have to be able to keep a level head and maintain a pure heart. Therefore, she’s not as vindictive or self-centered as she used to be, either.
Overall, Iris is significantly more mature than she appears. She has a massive trust in her own strength as well as that of her Pokémon, is humbled by her path and the immense amount of faith people have shown in her over the years, and knows when to put that serious face on when necessary. She’s blossoming into a young woman who understands not only the hearts of dragons, but of humans as well, which is something a younger her might not have even considered.

Having reigned as Champion for a few years now, Iris has seen plenty of good and evil in the world. She was there to take on Team Rocket when she traveled with Ash, and Team Plasma as a Gym Leader. But she had always had a discontent with the way the laws of the land handled these victories. She and her friends would do the legwork, hand them over to the International Police, and yet she would hear of people escaping; people getting away with their crimes. She would learn, as a child, that it was a crime to attack someone for being a criminal.
But she played her role. She learned to work within the confines of the Law so that she could be the best Gym Leader (and eventually Champion) she could be.
That was, until another Champion approached her with a dream of changing the world.
Although Iris readily accepted, as of right now, knowledge of her affiliation with Team Guardian is limited to a select few (to be decided depending on who joins the verse). She currently feels as though she’ll be most influential if she maintains a neutral stance, but she’s only biding her time, really.

personality: Mello had become hardhearted and angry. Struggling with an inferiority complex, he is still a hard working and determined person despite his troubles. While he prefers to get things done his own way, he has been forced to conform to rules and is often discouraged by lack of successes. He puts his all into everything he does, and often pushes boundaries to get his way. Though as time passes, he feels worse and worse. He’s been on the verge of giving up for the longest time, searching for something to make the fight worth it.
background: Mello was involved in team rocket for some time- willingly or not is unclear- before being taken into team guardian. Once established there, he took up spying on rocket for the benefit of guardian.

personality: N’s older sister Concordia has described him as “pure and innocent”. These two distinct traits ring very true of the green-haired man. He thinks nothing of himself, and only towards the happiness of pokemon and unfortunately knows hardly anything of the real world other than what he had grown up learning in Team Plasma. He’s naive and misinterepts quite a bit coming from the standpoint of other people. Despite this, N is considered a genius even if he does lack the aptitude for social skills. He is a logical thinker & excels in math & because of this, he will sometimes ramble about equations, whether it be the equation of life or how fast a pen will drop to the floor after it rolls off a table due to someone dropping it inadvertantly on said table. When around Pokemon, he tends to speak to them freely & has been known to forget that humans are around watching him do so.
background: Natural Harmonia Gropius — This was the name gifted to him by Ghetsis Harmonia, the man that adopted him into his life at the age of four. Prior to this, N was raised beside Pokemon that had been abandoned by their trainers. Woobat, Zorua, and Darmanitan became his friends & family during those ages of growth and when Ghetsis took N in, he made sure to allow the boy his friends – after all, it was a stepping stone in his plot to rule the world. Being a child who knew nothing of the world, N paid no mind and loved his “father” as any child should, despite never actually seeing the man. Instead, two women by the names of Concordia and Anthea the ‘parental’ figures more so focused around N’s life. As he grew up, N was put into the role of becoming “King” of Team Plasma. And, as King the ideals of the team would be to liberate Pokemon from people, this was merely another stepping stone for Ghetsis’ own advances. N became a pawn in a game of chess without knowing. At the start of the MAIN story of Black & White, N meets a trainer and he engages in battle with him. It is this trainer that begins to change his original thought processes, but at the same time he finds the ideas of forcing pokemon to do their bidding unforgivable. It is not until he has reached the Elite Four & Champion, where he finally learns the error of his ways – specifically, how he has all along been a pawn in Ghetsis’ game to own the world. Unable to understand or comprehend what had occurred, N bids his farewell to the Chosen Trainer and leaves with Reshiram to embark on a journey to understand both himself, and the world better.
abilities: Capable of talking to pokemon as if they could speak human & capable of summoning pokemon to fight by his side. Does not use pokeballs. Is it cool to count this as “disabilities” too? Because if so, N has autism.
team: team changes. only two set pokemon are Zoroark who is always by his side, and Reshiram whom chose him as the Hero of Truth
