In a universe where everyone is born with numbers on their wrists counting down to when they’ll meet their soulmate, send me 00:00:00 for my muses reaction to their numbers hitting zero when they meet yours. Maybe some people were curious about who they were supposed to end up with, but the whole thing just sounded weird to her. Not to mention the fact that it was just plain creepy. From the beginning, when the concept of the glowing numbers was explained to her, Lami hated it. And as such, Lami wasn’t all too thrilled when her timer ticked down to its final moments. As soon as the bell had rung, she’d snatched up her bag and darted out the door, intent on spending the rest of the day camping out in the female toilets. No way in hell was Lami going to spend the rest of her life tied down with one of her school mates, no way was someone going to barge into her life, claiming to be her soulmate and taking her away from her brother - CRASH Swiping away a frustrated tear from the corner of her eye, Lami scarcely noticed the tall blond hurtling past her, landing face-first on the tiled floor. Until her timer started up a series of frantic beepings that made Lami’s heart sink like a stone. This is the guy I’m supposed to spend the rest of my life with?
| 微笑 | - Rocinante was not excited to meet his soul-mate. No, the blond with his peaceful and happy life as a single person. He dislike it when someone interrupt his life, especially when it was someone you barely knew or never knew 'till the fate decided to make them your soul-mate.
He don't need a soul-mate, he is perfectly fine by himself.
So as he stood before the girl before him while brushing off the dusts on his shirt when he tripped over his shoes, he was definitely uninterested 'till he saw the name 'Lamy' on the girl's uniform.
A certain sneaky student of his came before his view, and he remember seeing similar name in the young man's data before.
Sibling of Trafalgar Law... Trafalgar Lami

This... is so much worse than he thought.

In a universe where everyone is born with numbers on their wrists counting down to when they’ll meet their soulmate, send me 00:00:00 for my muses reaction to their numbers hitting zero when they meet yours. To be honest Law didn’t know what to think of the thought of having a soulmate after all most people he had met up on this time in his life hadn’t been anything but idiots and murderers. Why would this one person be any different? And why would he care for him or things like that? In the end they would be both strangers at this point anyhow.
Sighing deeply the younger watched the numbers tick down slowly. Only to look up the second it hit zero only to see someone trip on their own feet….Terrific.
| 微笑 | - He wasn't all happy with the thought of getting a soul-mate. In all honesty... he didn't want one. He just wanted to be alone, he don't want to have a stranger barging into his life just because they were his soul-mate.
He didn't want to start caring for someone -- his mind should only be filled with his plots of seeking revenge for his dead parents.
He should no longer be the kind and soft-hearted Rocinante.
So when he realized that his soul-mate was a brat, Rocinante truly felt that the Lord despised him and decided to fool around with his life even more.

This boy before him better had a family, he don't have the time to adopt him and take care of him when his life was filled with enough things to worry about.

For a moment, Naeun thought she didn't hear it correctly. A small laugh emits pass her lips, almost nervously because she wasn't too sure if the other woman was being serious or just a joke. Yet no one tends to joke around when it comes to death, it's no laughing manner. Killing someone was something Naeun used to do that many others know about her, so to know that she's connected to someone who just murdered another -- who knows how long ago. It caused a shiver to run down her spine and she layered up in a long sleeve and sweater as well.
"What the hell did you just say?"
"I killed someone."
Nothing but a fool. Yet I'm no better than you.
She swallows a lump that began to form in her throat, realizing how dry her throat was and her finger hooks along the surface of the collar to tug on it lightly. Because suddenly the temperature began to rise rapidly and she felt as if she was going to combust anytime soon. Reality slaps her directly in the face and she glances back at her hands and the first thing she remembers is -- filthy, dirty, crimson. It's not her own blood, it's another's. Not being a criminal, she sighs before her fingers rubbed at the temple and down her forehead.
"Just.. why?" The brunette asked, softly. Thankfully they weren't in public but she felt like someone was around, they were staying at the her own place for the meantime. Getting dragged and forced to lead the way for her friend's sake without an explanation until now that is.
