🛏️Beck and Conway they are BESTIES

"What are you doing? I'm working with veeery dangerous electronics, man." He's not, he's just tinkering with some old scraps, putting together some bits and pieces to try make something useful out of them. He sighs, though it's exaggerated and very clearly staged, then leans back on the sofa, leaving his 'dangerous electronics' on the coffee table in front of him.

"... Y'know, maybe you're right. I do need a break." So he uses his buddy's shoulder as an arm rest and puts his feet up on the table (here's hoping their boss doesn't give him hell for that) and lets himself relax back into the cushions.

What's better than this? Just guys bein' dudes.

"He's a genius!" At what point is a wolf considered a lapdog? God only knows that Beck is pushing the boundary, with the way his tail wags at the very mention of the good doctor's name. A wag strong enough that each thump thump thump of it hitting the back of his chair turns him slightly. Left... right... left... right...

"Love him or hate him, you have to respect the fact that he is an undeniable genius! And it's an honor to work with him." That's not necessarily something cute... but it'll do.

Soul couldn’t believe it, he was finally allowed to use Doctor Gague’s...whatever Damsel called it. And they had managed to lock back on to her favorite world too. Not just a copy or an alternate like kept happening, but the real deal. 

When Damsel told he was allowed to go, he had jumped at the chance. Of course, his family wasn’t as elated. His little sister, Minuet, urged him not to go. His father was worried he wouldn’t be ready for such a task all by himself. Not after losing Soul once. But they managed a condition, Beowulf would have to come along, and Soul wasn’t upset about that in the slightest, he loved his big pooch, and would feel safer with them. And with Damsel on the com, guiding them as often as the weak signal would manage, they were safer than they might have been just staying at home.

Damsel gave him a thumbs up, ready to teleport him to an alleyway she had found in her travels. Capable of handling the size of even a large robot like Beowulf, and secluded enough to not cause havoc in another mall, the perfect spot. So one at a time, they appeared in the alleyway, before stepping out onto the sidewalk. At least she had managed to get them closer to the coliseum than she had been.
