Rebirth. (Blink--RP)
The bloody body of his love laying on the ground, dead. Voices clamoring in his head, screaming for freedom. He voices his plea to join the one he loved in death. A cruelly beautiful face with locks of ebony framed around it and slitted glowing eyes. A young child, ordering his death. He stands, waiting for that final blow. It comes, and he falls dying, his soul among the thousand others leaving his body. The blackness comes and swallows him whole--
“GAH!!”
Eric Slingby shot up in bed with a gasp, panting and sweating. For a minute, he sat there, rubbing his eyes and trying to calm himself down. That... that was his death, wasn’t it? Yes... it had to be. He had killed Alan by mistake, and he asked that demon Sebastian Michaelis to kill him in return... but, why was he alive? Was he actually in Hell? It was oddly peaceful.
Looking up, he saw that he was in a white room with a chair on the other side of the room with something on it, and a nightstand to the right of the bed. Squinting, he noticed with a huff of pure surprise that his old Reaper glasses were resting on the stand on top of a folded letter. He quickly put them on, nearly overwhelmed with the sudden clarity. Blinking to adjust his vision, he grabbed the letter and opened it, reading its contents.
So he wasn’t in Hell as he thought, but instead, he was now in a city named Conivere, and his current location was in the Blink Center. The letter instructed him to head to the Sol Apartments and meet his roommate, a Zack Fair. There was also a map on the back of the letter as well. The Scotsman looked back over to the chair and saw a neatly folded pile of clothes for him. He placed the letter on the bed and walked over to get dressed. After fixing his clothes, he grabbed the letter and proceeded to leave the Blink Center, eager to explore the city.
And perhaps... he’d be reunited with Alan as well.
