The strawberry blone haired woman didn't do surprises. It was not like she wasn't fond of those, but not being aware of what would come next wasn't exectly a good feeling, of course, everyone knew Lee Jihyun was usually the calmer and probably the most patient person that had ever stepped into this world, but she was also curious and curiosity always brought to her a wierd sensation... Something close to anxiety and that one feeling the petite woman was surely not fond of. He know that, the geneticist thought, shaking her head lightly in a silent signal for disapproval. Yet, sometimes it crossed her mind that her co-worker did that for his own amusement, after all, it was clear as water that Jihyun didn't knew how to deal with more than one emotion at time, let alone display them.
And for the time being there was more emotions filling up her heart than the petite scientist thought it was possible. Peolple couldn't even understand life, therefore, death would always be the single mystery humans might not even come closer to solve and it was hard to deal with that idea. It was even harder when death took away a close one, a loved one. Sure, it was not like Jihyun didn't faced year before, but why was that this time hurted so badly? "You can't do your job if you're unfocused." She muttered to herself hopefully not loud enough to wake up the male sit by her side. Jihyun tried to make herself believe that she had accepted the younger's invitation for that little trip because she wouldn't do more than be a weight for her fellow co-workers when deep inside she knew that she was suffocating there and Kris would probably be the only person to actually care enough to find that out.
The handsome blonde male seemed to always manage to look past her façade and as odd as it seemed that didn't bothered Jihyun at all, they spent enough of time together anyways and being both the younger ones in the greedy grown-up filled world was kind of the main reason that trigerred both of them to stick together. Let's not forget of course, their brilliant mind that always seemed to process simmilar oppinions. The strawberry blonde haired woman could never thank the taller male enough for being such a great friend to her, and perhaps that was one of the very motives why she was always caring and babying the younger around. "Yifan-ah." Jihyun called him out, gently poking his shoulder before shaking the younger lightly. It always amused her to no end how her chinese skills were literally limitated to pronouce the fellow scientist's name. "Wake up, I think we're here." She smiled softly, tilting her head to peak outside the bus' window, the sight making her smile grow brighter. Where they were at? She had no idea, perhaps in the middle of nowhere, but the view was breath-taking enough to avoid any more questions from the older one.
