Break Through | Qri & Gikwang|
Sometimes, the geneticist would wonder how the other survivors always seemed to know where to find her. Well, it was not like a petite woman with long strawberry blonde hair and those doll-like chocolate eyes of hers were hard to miss...In fact it wasn't like a living person was hard to miss after the horrors of the outbreak. Qri didn't complained though, she liked to help people out and it wasn't just because in her head that was the least she could do after taking part in the project that ended up creating those-...Things. Even after weeks and several hit and run situations the petite woman had no idea of how to name what the biggest part of the world's population had become, it seemed like the one-way path they all were tracing had blocked all the turn aways.
Her delicate hand ran down her strawberry blonde hair like she always did whenever she was feeling trapped. Qri had a lot of those anxiety habits, some like that one, the woman wasn't even aware she had. One would blame it all in the literally living hell they had to put up with thosedays, but she knew it better and for that single reason she decide to ignore it all. Qri didn't need any add to the already long list of the reasons why she should fear her own mind. Lefting a heavily sigh scape from her reddish lips, the petite woman took a moment to glance around the already fammiliar environment. It has already been a few days since she and her partner in crime, Naeun, had came back to her family house for a new hidding place and no matter how hard Qri tried it just didn't seemed welcoming anymore, it didn't seemed like a home anymore. Just another house they were lucky enough to find in one piece and it seemed worst coming from someone who was fond of traditions quite like herself.
The knock on the hard wooden made door made the woman almost cling onto the light above her for dear life, but it seemed too normal to be one of the criatures, too human. Qri reach out for what once used to be a phone and plopped herself out the couch silently, rising an eyebrow to the door as she waited for one of the two things: A human voice or the door meeting the floor in a rather violent manner. What happened though supress every scenario she had in her mind as the loud noise of a bullet being shot and then the sound of metal hitting metal a few times were enough to bring the door down, the scene was close to be funny if it wasn't tragic: Someone owe her a new door and for the groan comming outside Qri was sure it wasn't one of those odd criatures.
As the strawberry blonde haired woman stepped close to the door her eyes became a lot more bigger than they already were. Blood, there was blood every where, in the door, in the doorway and covering the taller male stopped in front of her right now almost from head to toe. Whoever he was it was better if more than half of that blood didn't belonged to him or he would die before she could even tell him that her house was not an hospital, grabbing his hand quickly Qri pulled the male inside the house, lying him down on the couch in the most gently manner she could at that moment. "What is your name?" She asked, to make sure he wouldn't pass out on her nor attract anything else to that house. "What happened to you? How did you got here?" Her delicate hands traced his chest until the tip of her fingers gently pressed against the deep cut he had against his shoulder. "Oh oh." Qri shook her head calmly before getting up. "I will be right back, please, stay a live." She said before running out to grab a few of the medical tools, it was not like he would go anywhere anyways.
