✦ KING AND HIS KNIGHT/RIGHT HAND DYNAMICS ! Cain used to be the general and commanding officer of the knights in the central kingdom (until they took away these titles bc they found out he was a wizard) BUT! despite this, traits that are assigned to knights in fairy tales are often traits that he naturally has, so much so that even after being stripped of these official titles, he still remains as the right hand of the central kingdom's prince Arthur (he is that reliable and truthful !) putting this lil introduction to the side, I think that their dynamic as king and his knight could really work out, not just because Cain is reliable, courageous and honest, but also because he has this ability to build bridges with people no matter their title or rank being wayyyy above him; he tends to behave in a way that is polite and respectful, but since he is so care-free, he tends to talk to people more like people rather than their titles; so even with him being aware that Ozy would be his king, I can't help but feel like sometimes they would have these moments where they seem more like long time friends than just a simple knight serving his lord.
✦ Cain being the bridge between ozy and his people !!; in the sense that he is usually loved by citizens because of his earnest and friendly personality; he is the kind of guy who would get invited by a fisherman to eat with his family on the spot or be invited to local festivals, so I'm imagining him attending to these festivities and thinking back on ozy and how he's always on his role as king, so he would bring him back souvenirs from town! or tell him about the things his people love, or about the little games held on the booths; this would also be helpful as his direct contact with the people would help in understanding truly the struggles others are facing rather than just relying on numbers and the such
✦ I would follow you to the ends of the world as your knight but as your friend, I will not hesitate to stop you when you decide to walk through a path that is betraying your heart - trope ; aka: Ozy is immensely more powerful than him, his life's experiences are incredibly different from Cain's, but Cain's determination is made of steel so he would not hesitate to call ozy out if he were to wander towards a place that contradicts his own heart no matter the fact that he is his king (and here we link back to Cain's straight-forwardness and his difficulty in blindly abiding to rules) ; if he bonds with you, he has this ability to sniff out ur heart so no matter if someone lied to him or put on an act to hide something, he would still be able to figure out the truth because he knows there is more to a person than etiquettes; so if for some reason anything happened, u can count on Cain to try to wake Ozy up even to the cost of loosing his own life
✦ Cain sometimes would drag Ozy from his lounging-cat moments to go out fishing with him or downtown (and don't worry, he'll make sure to disguise him so he can wander around with ease 😎) so its basically dog and cat dynamic! his dream would be to go camping with him but so far he hasn't been able to convince him to do so,,, maybe one day he'll show him how the stars look like away from all the lights and how great grilled fish by a bonfire tastes like

He is quite an affectionate person and I feel like whenever they sleep together he would unconsciously always end up clinging to Ozy in some way (he drools on his sleep sometimes so rip ozy) this is also so that when he wakes up he can actually see Ozy first thing in the morning (he has this odd injury he can't see people unless he touches them first so he is usually lifting his hand up in the air and waiting for someone to high-five him once so he can see them for the rest of the day). If he ends up waking up without having touched him, he just opens his arms wide in front of his throne and waits for Ozy to come and give him a hug
