It was so easy to banter with the pirate, something Robin had discovered within minutes of first meeting him. It was almost strange to think that, a matter of days ago, they had been unknown to each other. Now, it seemed they were heading down a path that would make them both very familiar with each other. "An offer not made lightly…" He mused aloud, lips lifting into a smirk. "Perhaps I ought to be flattered."

In truth, he was – at least partially. A man would have to be blind not to notice and appreciate that Killian was a sinfully attractive specimen, after all. Still, the affections of pirates were not often known to be particularly beneficial in the long run, so he was still somewhat cautious. Robin was, however, a man who took full advantage of any opportunities presented to him. "Then I think we should find out if there is any truth to that statement of yours…"

Brows lifted in amused surprise - and mild curiosity - as the thief studied the pirate across the table. A great deal of rum and ale had been consumed between the two of them, whilst the pirate’s crew and his own merry men had taken it upon themselves to partake in their own enjoyment together, with many a card game underway. Robin swirled what remained of his ale in his tankard, and considered Killian’s words.

“Well, that is quite an offer.” He grinned, lifting the tankard to drain it. He set it down upon the table, and gave Killian a considering look. “And if you meant it, I might even be tempted to take you up on it.” He quirked a brow, leaning in closer. “Or is this just the rum talking? Or perhaps you are lonely.” He grinned again. “Are you sure you could handle it?”
