Speaking of Valkorion inspiring Cato...

I like the idea that Cato’s “immortality” is flawed, for whatever reason. His body may not age, he may not get sick, and he may mostly be invulnerable... But he can actually be killed. Not that he quite realizes this. Or, at least, his body can be killed with great difficulty.

His spirit is still very much immortal, however. That part worked.

As time goes on, Cato becomes more and more like an eldritch abomination. Stays alive by hijacking the bodies of others. Bend them to his will. Hollows them out. Slowly alters them to his liking. Rather akin to Orochimaru, actually.

In his pursuit of divinity, Cato becomes little more than a parasite. An extraordinarily invasive, corruptive, dangerous parasite.

I think Valkorion / Vitiate’s plan would be rather appealing to Cato, as well. Doing a ritual that can make the user ascend, at the cost of every living thing on the planet. That feels like a very Cato thing to do.

“I am aware, your holiness. Everyone knows this.”

“Indeed, but I’m beginning to suspect that the name does not suit me.”

“Your holiness?”

“In the context of our struggle, does not the name Belladonna denote weakness? Those who gave up the struggle?”

“I suppose I’ve never dwelt on it... You often speak so highly of the holy mother.”

“Oh, do not mistake me, I adore my grandmother, dearest Blake, bless her soul. But my mother? My great-grandfather? Such connections are... perhaps not the best to be affiliated with.”

“So what would you recommend?”

“My Menagerie does not follow the ideology of the Belladonnas. No, I’ve always felt much more sympathy for Adam Taurus’ cause. Alas, his name has been thoroughly dragged through the mud. But do you know who hasn’t? Which leading figure of the faunus cause have I yet to mention?”

“...Sienna Khan, my lord.”

“Precisely. What a strong name. Khan... Feels almost stately. A woman who was extremely close with the holy mother. Yes, I will draw inspiration from her. I shall take on her name. Her burden. I shall be Cato Belladonna no more. Cato Khan... now that is powerful. A much better earthly title than chieftain or lord. Khan...”

I dont think anyone is sleeping on him. I certainly aint. But liike no one does SWTOR only stuff on Tumblr most are in game. And i know I dont play him cause I doubt I could live up to how fucking amazing he is.
