Darren used to live with his aunt for some time in Cobh. This was during the time he was getting into trouble with gangs. He had just recently gotten kicked out of school and sent to a school to help troubled youth. While being with the guys he purchased a gun for protection and his aunt caught him with it. She kicked him out which resorted to him having to couch surf with his mates.
