Oh? Was this girl…scared of her? She kinda looked like she wanted to approach her, but perhaps her menacing appearance was causing some issues?

…Well, that was no good! She didn’t want people to be scared of her! (Unless they were King Bowser’s enemies, of course.) So…she’d slowly approach the girl, before sitting down.

“ NO WORRIES! CHOMPETTE WON’T BITE. PROMISE. “

Her sharp teeth, the many chains around her, and these Chain Chomps with her, it definitely gave her an intimidating appearance from the girl’s perspective. However despite this, she then sat down in front of Chloe, assuring she wouldn’t bite her hand. 

“O-oh, okay, I b-believe you...” The girl softly replied, slowly extended her hand towards Chompette’s head, intending to pet her.

 Kouki sat in stunned silence as Chloe somehow gathered the lake water into a swirling sphere before him. People always said that the world is a mysterious place, and it was absolutely filled with odd and wonderful people. Be that as it may, it wasn’t often that he pulled his head from the clouds just in time to witness a feat quite like that.

 “How the heck are you doing that?”

Chloe was so focused doing so, a yelp uttered from her lips when Kouki reached out to her, causing her to drop the sphere of water, accidently splashing on the two including their puppy. 

“A-ah, I’m so s-sorry, K-Kouki-kun, I didn’t m-mean to do t-that...” Now realizing that their clothes were partially soaked, the girl felt a bit embarrassed. The puppy simply shook to get themselves dry. “I’m n-not sure, it’s h-hard to explain, I j-just try to c-concentrate and I c-can draw w-water from it...?”
