@pastballads sent: ❤️🧸🎶 for Amber!
❤️ - How did your muse come to realize their romantic and sexual orientations? Was it difficult to accept? Are they proud of who they are?
It was relatively early on in her life she recognized she was gay, after she struck out on her own. The realization she wasn't going to do the 'regular' thing came about when she was 16. Some men would tease her about guys giving her looks (yes this is creepy) (came with the territory of where she worked) and even past the disgust she could only consider it... funny? Looking at the guy? Like who's this shmuck? Nothin?
Eyes had just always lingered more thoughtfully on princesses and other girly girls. Not that she wanted to be girly but she liked the way they laughed and giggled at things. Stuck with her a lot more, and she realized, the first time she got a girl to giggle like that in real life? She got a good flutter of her own in the chest.
Proud? Absolutely. You've seen how she laughed off the concept with Tino. :^) Wing-girl, that's what she'll be for dudes though.
🧸 - Does your muse own any sentimental objects from their past? What makes it/them so special?
Amber grew up in the same orphanage that Darla ( @cloudpools ) ended up in, they were fast friends but both had wandering thoughts for different things so their cool friendship ended up splitting them apart for a good while. But! She kept a piece of keychain that Darla had been putting together with way too many charms and other junk. For a car she didn't even have (yet).
She now keeps that charm piece (it's a rectangular plastic prism filled with green lava lamp goop) on her own keys for her motorcycle.
🎶 - What kind of music does your muse listen to? Do they have a favorite genre? Do you think the aux cord would be taken away from them?
If it's loud and leaning towards the counter-culture, then Amber probably likes it. Nu-metal and butt rock have been the two go-to genres since she found em. Regardless of the verse (futuristic or modern) if a music player is present, it's something retro with near blown-out speakers. A boombox in her garage (the volume does not get turned down) or old junky mp3 player with old retro cans plugged into them.
You could get her fancier stuff but she won't care for it. Even back at her place she's got broken VHS players and radios she tweaks and messes with. It's not about what works it's about how it makes her feel. Fixing things up. Breaking em down (music). Have fun with it.
