Atsuko has gone to some solitary place that night, she had her thoughts tangled and a heavy chest which she couldn't yet heal. Her eyes moved up, staring at the owner of that light in the darkness. Her only comfort when remembering her home, the place she belonged to. The young girl stared at the moon, counting for a moment the stars around it.
it wasn't helping after all.
Because whoever is up there knows, that it was true how at that moment of her life, she was doing everything she ever wanted with her life: Her solo career, the band, the acting. She was a dreamer and that was her dream. No matter how much her face could be cold and hidden behind a mask of annoyance and impassible expression, she was a hopeless dreamer.
And if someone asked her if she was happy?
The girl brought her hands to her heart and could swore that she could feel it about to break. She hasn't forget. She never forgot. She could never forget. She could never stop hating herself no matter how much she archived. The smiles every time someone complimented her everything, even complimenting herself.
Who was she trying to deceive?
The spectator of the moonlight time clutched her hands against her chest as she clenched her teeth, accompanied by now transformed fangs. Her eyes were the color of the prettiest and glowing pieces of gold you could ever seen. You could tell, that girl wasn't human. She never thought of herself as a human. You could've thought this was a mythical creature with the features resembling the most dangerous canine in the world.
Except for the black wings of skin on her back.
How could she ignore the fact she could have those, as much as she tried to live as how she has been, always being aware of the lycan meant to her always being aware of the vampire and tears couldn't be stopped from falling.
from anger and sorrow.
Her golden eyes were filled with tears and hate, she wanted to get rid of those reminders on her back, the reminders of her hate, the reminders of the father who had the same and exact characteristic.
But she can't do that without losing her life.
Atsuko hide her face on her knees as she continued letting the pain out. She wanted to live, but she couldn't stop those feelings either. How she could stop them when every time she saw them, the only image in her mind was the moment of that face that belonged to her father was of disgust as he called her:
Useless and disgrace to his reputation.
The girl made those painful weights on her back and almost wanted to pull out the heart of hers. How this living being could take a bullet, a car thrown at her and whatever anything that would easy kill a mortal, but made no damage to her was hurting from inside. She looked up with red eyes from the almost endless crying, it was near the time her eternal lover would have to go away and Atsuko said a goodbye by giving just a little smile at it.
Maeda Atsuko wondered for the nth time why she worked for this man, not that he wasn't good at his job, he was incredible. But he is such a party man. She thought as she looked at him asking for another drink since they were celebrating one great deal with another company cause normally she wasn't a party fan, unless she was with her close friends. Plus she was really tired, even for someone like her, she knew she was pushing too much. Two day ago she was in Japan and just came back to South Korea.
And although the also actress found a little annoying how everyone kept insistent for her to stay and drink more and more, she did thinking that her coworkers weren't doing it out of bad intentions. She didn't remember how they weren't the only ones there and didn't really have her guard up to notice one guy of the other company kept an eye on her all night, let alone how he sneaked something on a drink meant to be hers.
' Maeda-ssi? ' The named heard one of her co-workers outside, looking for her. "I...Yes, I am here." She barely responded before slowly exiting the bathroom to find them with their concerned eyes on her. ' Maybe we should call a taxi to take her home... ' One of them suggested and the half-japanese actually had to agree on the fact she wouldn't be able to do all of that in her state. ' If I am not wrong, I live near Maeda-ssi, for what my boss told me, I can accompany her. ' And apparently gentle voice of a guy sounded and everything else just passed fast.
The girl although seeming lost, took a look around her, this wasn't her house or near her house. "Eh..." She was about to turn around and try to ask her escort when she knew it, she looked into those eyes and they weren't good news. The male approached her and she saw the taxi driving away. ' I can't believe I have the famous Maeda Atsuko with me, my adored Yue... ' He started, grabbing her wrists. Was this guy some sick fan of her? ' Putting that on your drink was easy, first time drinking carelessly? ' Atsuko cursed mentally while trying to collect some, a bit of her strength, so she could get away. How did she let her guard down that much?
' It's sad that you won't remember me, but good that I will remember this. ' He smiled evilly as he was beginning to push her inside that weird looking house, but Maeda was successful to free one of her writs and punch him in the face, yet not so successful when she couldn't move her legs. ' You like playing like that huh? ' The man sounded angry, this time roughly wrapping his arms around her to take her inside. "NO!" She could only let out a somewhat scream, without knowing if it would do anything.
Being already pass seven, Atsuko started moving around, slightly impatient at the other guitarist who was still not arriving home. "She said she was on her way on taxi. How can it take so long?" She complained about Sayaka, her way to show concert, maybe. The half-japanese looked at the oldest one, playing some video game meanwhile they waited. "Are you sure you like the melody I composed?"
Maeda Atsuko - or Yue as fans of her band and even friends called her - always loved animals, they were special for her since she was little, specially dogs. There wasn't a year of her life which she didn't have at least one canine friend by her side, it was an important part of her. And it wasn't a surprise that this animal-lover artist was also part of an organization pro-animal rights which she would be sometimes at whenever she had free time of her career and helped economically.
Yet this was the first time she was asked to do the task of taking her of soon-to-be adopted puppies and kittens, not that she didn't know how to take care of puppies, but she had to admit having a little of uneasiness towards kittens. Plus the fact she wasn't going to be alone, but with just one person as company, that really wasn't making it any easy for the ever introvert behind-the-scene, Yue.
Not to mention her company was a really shy, but cute girl who happened to be by her side at that moment. "It's a pleasure, um...." Atsuko wondered about how address the girl. Just by her name? No. Korean honorifics? Mmm nope. Her surname? That didn't sound bad... "Minegishi-san" The older girl decided to also use the japanese honorifics and bowed slightly at her. "Is it okay if...I look after the puppies?" She asked with a timid smile on her face.
Back in time: A Lone Wolf & a Yankī | Yuzuki & Sayaka
A first year of high school, Maeda Yuzuki stared out of the windows, sighing. How much has it been since she moved back to Japan from South Korea? A little over two year, and after five years there, she kind of missed it. However her dreams were more important than any of that, she was going to make it, going to be able to be in movies, singing in front of many people, write her music.
But those dreams really have their price, huh? Not that she really minded being alone, she was used to it. She had to focus a lot more on her career, she was barely starting and there was a lot to do. Her only current problem for which she ended sighing while trying to ignore it was that certain delinquent, or yankī/yankee who had to be sitting exactly by her side.
Sayaka was her name, Yuzu knew it since the teacher was always scolding or looking for her. Later that day, the same girl she called annoying, was in front of her on the ground, being pinned down and struggling with an older and bigger boy, she raised her eyebrow because of how unfair that was and locked eyes with her. Was she saying to run away or that it wasn't her business? Maybe both. Yuzuki groaned, turning her head and sighed for the nth that day, cause: Takaoki Sayaka.
