character development meme ; day 6

Why do they have their resources? How long have they had them, and how have they served the character over time? (Ex. Contacts, money, political power, fame, etc.)

 Honestly, Choa doesn't really have such resources aside from money. And even then, her family isn't rich, they're comfortably well-off as her father works as an IT director and her mother works in public relations, the combined careers paying them well enough to support their six children. She's rarely wanted for anything and she's grateful for that, though she knows the value of a dollar and this is why she likes to earn her own money whenever possible.

Hongki has always been unaware of most of his resources, honestly. His connections and power within the Underworld have existed since before he was born, when his mother was a part of them, and it wasn't until he was approached by them last year (or, rather, kidnapped) that he learned he has powerful contacts and a rather high rank among them,

He chooses to do nothing about this, however. He prefers not to have anything to do with the Underworld.
