edmund offering edwin a small smile, holding his hand out to agree to play tug... so imagine his confusion when edwin refuses to give the toy.
no take. only play.
He bows, his front legs splayed out so that his chest almost touches the floor. Tail wagging, a low growl rumbling from somewhere in his stomach.
Edmund goes to take Cloth Thing. To play! And Edwin takes off, zooming around the cottage.
does edwin play tug? does he look pathetically at edmund until the vampire will indulge him in playing tug?
He has a little toy from his old home. Just some ripped up cloth thing that he dare not part with. His only friend in that house, Cloth Thing was.
Edmund will often find the beast sitting there, mournful brown eyes pathetic and wet, holding Cloth Thing in his jaws.
PLEASE play tug with him, Edmund.
@venefiicas tortured me for this starter
His head was throbbing about fifteen minutes before he finished up on his surgery. It was quiet, as he often liked it to be when he was working, concentrating on the energy and the life-force of his patient. It was a strange sensation but it didn’t deter him from finishing the job, once he was done and washed up, Edwin went back out into the hallway as he scanned over the patients chart, jotting down his procedures and notes before a nurse all but rushed him from the nurses station, she seemed on edge and her pulse was quickened in a panicked manner. Not odd for some nurses, especially the new ones, or those that were infatuated by the doctor.
“Doctor Kalmore, your wife, she’s... downstairs.” The woman voiced and Edwin glanced up from what he was writing to observe her briefly, brow knitting together before he chuckled to himself. It wasn’t entirely unusual for his wife to randomly stop by his work, especially if it was close to the end of his shift if she were in the area. Although, per their previous conversation before his surgery, she was going to the bank.
“Oh, thank you, she likes to surprise me sometimes,” he said fondly before scribbling down the rest of what he had been thinking for a moment. Nodding to the woman Edwin moved along his way down the hall towards the waiting area to tell the family that the surgery went well and they could visit their loved one shortly. After a few hugs from relieved family members, Edwin made his way to the elevator and pushed the button to head downstairs, opening the file to scan it over once more.
