real world.
loyalty was a big thing for shiah, especially since she had been on the receiving end of betrayal a few times and had felt it’s excruciating sting. as such, she found it a little hard to approach the girls who had come from other companies and made it into luxe. she had nothing against them personally, that’d be silly, but it just didn’t feel right going up to them and being their friends, nor did there seem to be a point of it. they were set to debut in a group that shiah wasn’t a part of, so why bother? they needed to focus on building friendships with their members since they don’t have the experience of training together for however so long.
she was incredibly happy for jihyun, seolhyun and seoyoung, but whenever she saw dawon in the halls, she thought of soohyun. when she was training and laughing with rose, she couldn’t help but think it should be her instead of jiwon rehearsing in that studio room with the other five members. and when she ran into eunae in the rapping studio, she immediately thought of ash. there had been attempts of politeness on her part, she’d smile and bow to the other, but that was about it. she had seen ash a lot since the end of royal survival, since she was training in rap, and she knew a brave face when she saw one. it hurt to see that.
she should’ve anticipated a situation like this, however. she wasn’t sure what eunae was working on by herself, but shiah had decided to stick around after regular training schedules in the rap studio, and work on a rap verse she had been given by her coach earlier. it would be the most painfully awkward thing in the world if she didn’t say something. “ah.... hello, sunbae. do you need the room to yourself?”
