- Emily Dickinson
Before the sun rose, visions of new worlds danced in your mind, empathy wove into each breath, guiding whispers of hope through the quiet dawn.
barefoot on the cold tile,
holding out hopes on my fingertips,
in whispers and in screams,
but I've been quiet.
maybe at midnight, maybe at dawn,
but time has dripped down the walls.
the ghost passed down like a curse,
could this ache get you back home safe?

January 22, 2026 — Bitter Twist: Cherophobia On Top
Everyone has tasted 'bitter sweet'
at least once or even more.
But has anyone experienced 'bitter twist'?
It's whole different kind of lore.
One where the bitter taste
of every pinch of joy in our lives
gives our ankles a twist.
Suddenly you find yourself on the ground,
the pain of the twist starting to settle in.
Your tears fall without knowing.
The pain starts to ebb out free flowing.
Now all the joy you've had?
It's noting but an ingredient
to that slice of cake we call 'life'.
I want a love I never have to beg for, a love that calls for me first.
When he thinks I can be casual but the poem i wrote starts with “I would burn holes in my skin if you wanted to touch my soul”
