☩—- The feeling of anticipation was definitely not something he wanted to feel. There was a pang of dread deep in the pits of his stomach, it was as if the feelings of just meeting someone were long gone. The person he was looking for, he had never even seen their face before, so why did he feel so anxious and excited to meet them? It would be their first meeting. Rin cursed quietly, he didn't even want to be out here in the middle of a dark forest. This guy better feel grateful that he had such a nice partner as he. Otherwise Rin would feel a multitude of emotions, ranging from angry to depressed. Of course he'd never admit out loud, but he was rather lonely ever since his arrival to the facility. Going to meet his partner and possibly building up a bond with this person was like a dream come true to the demon.
☩—- He felt the invisible tug on his body, guiding him as he walked aimlessly. Rin had no idea where he was walking exactly, but the direction was all in his gut, and he trusted his gut. His gut he trusted more than his conscience. So wander he does, almost ready to just give up the search for his partner and leave the forest, to go back to the safety of the building. This wasn't worth losing his life over, even though it would be pretty damn hard to kill Rin, he knew he wasn't completely invincible. Being the son of a powerful demon meant nothing in a world where there were people who were demons just like he, older and more powerful too.
☩—- The moment of loneliness he felt was fleeting when he heard noises, his oversensitive ears practically twitching at the sounds. The aching in his heart tells him to move, move or he'd regret it for a long period in his life. Quickly, as if his muscles had minds of their own, he rushes forward and into the clearing and looks around, navy eyes scanning the area desperately. The ephemeral tug on his heart told him he had found it, he found the person he was tied to in this disgusting, pathetic excuse for an experiment. “Finally I found you, do you know how hard I've been searching for you?” he said gruffly.
