But the m a n you once loved is gone; All that remains now is a beast, heartless and c r u e l and blinded by r a g e
|| A guide to; Dealing With Your Personal King ||
tips and such provided by; professional King handler, Sugawara Koushi
First and foremost, regardless of situation, remember your King is actually nothing but a commoner, who was picked by commoners and crowned a King.
Do; treat your King as someone on the same level as you, since, technically, he is.
Don't; call your King names, such as "Your Majesty", or even "King" itself.
affection;
Affection, both physical and not physical may be required on a daily basis, but do keep in your mind, while your King may accept and reciprocate all kinds of affection behind closed doors, he is not fond of intimate acts in public places, so try to avoid doing those as much as you can. If you find yourself, say for example; holding hands in public, remember to check up on your King to see if he is still fine with it.
Do; shower your King with non-sexual acts of intimacy when it is at the right time and the right place.
Don't; do the above mentioned in public places, such as school or the club room.
arguments & fights;
You and your King will rarely ever stumble into fights, but be cautious nonetheless; for most small, or big, arguments arise from game night.Warning; The game your King will most likely always cheat in is Monopoly; do not trust him when he says you owe him a certain amount of money, because chances are you only owe him half of it.
Do; actively participate in game night with your King, it does not always lead to arguments.
Don't; play Mario Kart and/or Mario Party with your King
reminder; if an argument/a fight happens to arise, talk it out and always apologize afterwards, whether it be your fault or not (though if it really is;it is veryimportant for you to apologize, not necessarily to please your King but much more to keep your relationship alive), after an argument/a fight; cuddles will be guaranteed.
caring;
Always, always be patient with your King. He might need some time to warm up to you and the concept of being loved and to love. Don't expect too much, especially if the relationship is new, give him time and teach him how to love, eventually your King will start reciprocating your actions. Do not fret if at first he doesn't! Your King probably loves you equally as much as you do, but simply isn't sure how to express himself, so, like stated above, give him time and lead him.
Do; love your King and teach him how love functions.
Don't; snap on him if he does not get something or get angry over his lacking understanding of love and such things.
handwritten note;
Do not ever cook for Tobio.
In fact, don't cook at all.

The Not-So-Domestic Meme
1. burning your muse’s dinner
-{ ♔ }- When the silver-haired young male had decided to cook dinner for his boyfriend, he hadn’t expected things to end up like this.
Who knew leaving hot oil and mackerel in a frying pan without any supervision while trying to figure out how the sauce worked would not only lead to a burnt piece of fish, but also a frying pan set ablaze.
There might be a look of panic on his face when he grabs the pan by it’s handle and hears the door unlock. There most definitely is a look of panic on his face as he takes a step to the sink and makes a U-turn back, with his old middle school teacher’s voice echoing in his head, telling him to never ever try to put out burning oil with water.
"Tobio—?!”, he shouts into the hallway, the still burning frying pan with the still burning piece of mackerel in his hands, “Tobio, can you please come into the kitchen? I might need some help in here?!”

The Stalker Song by Bella Hemming
-{ ♔ }- He doesn’t quite remember where he heard the song, doesn’t quite remember when he told Tobio about it, and he doesn’t quite remember why it’s this catchy.
What he does remember however, is that Tobio asked him to sing a few lines of it, maybe he’d recognize the song if he heard it, so he had said. And now, it’s just about 2 AM, Tobio is sleeping next to him and Koushi has just remembered part of the lyrics.
It starts quiet, he doesn’t want to wake his boyfriend, but as he gets more used to the, rather strange, lyrics, he gets a bit more confident, and with that also a bit more louder.
"Maybe I’m a bit of a stalker But it’s only like a little bit creepy And, hey, you should be flattered Maybe you’ll eventually notice me”
karasuno-ou
The question shocks him into silence.
He feels like someone’s poured ice into his veins; he can feel his blood run cold, and there is a spike of anxiety that shoots up in him.
He’s thought about these questions before, but they are no more than a fleeting idea, the occasional tendrils of thought that tickle at his brain and easily shelved, because Kou’s there. Kou always tells him he’s loved and it’s so easy to ignore thoughts like these when clearly, Kou makes him feel cared for and important and valuable—
—wait.
Important. Valuable.
Kou makes him feel important and valuable.
Kings want to be important and valuable.
Is that why he loves Kou? Is that what it means to love, to begin with?
Isn’t this just making use of Kou’s feelings for him?
More importantly—-
——are his feelings even real?
"I—" he begins, then snaps his mouth back shut; inhales, exhales.
"I don’t want to answer that."
-{ ♔ }- The first thing leaving his lips just then is his boyfriend's name.
"Tobio?"
And this time, it's not the way he usually says it, full of happiness cheerfulness, this time it's heavy with worry. Tobio doesn't have his usual expression on, and Koushi, he can't help but worry.
"Tobio", he says again as he approaches the taller boy, "You okay?"
(He didn't hear what Tobio had to hear, what Tobio had to process.)
Koushi wraps an arm around his boyfriend's shoulders and he thinks the younger one has never felt more fragile.
"What happened?"
"Was s/he better for you?" There wasn't even acid in his words; there is only resignation.
painful starters
-{ ♔ }- Koushi doesn’t look the other in the eye, doesn’t reply right away, and when he does, all he says is “I don’t know.”
"I don’t know.” He honestly doesn’t. It hasn’t been long enough to judge.
He remembers, he had told himself not to regret it, when he went away for college, but he ended up doing it anyways, ended up regretting it way too much, ended up wanting to turn back time way too much, wanted to change things way too much.
He doesn’t know when his feelings for Tobio stopped growing, started withering like a dead rose. And he, he doesn’t know when someone else stepped into his heart, stepped into him and took him by storm.
He doesn’t know when he started falling for someone else.
"I'm sorry.”, he says and he really, truly means it. “This is my fault.”
It's 12 AM, but Tobio is selfish and egocentric and he really is sorry, but he dials Kou anyway. "Hey," he whispered into the phone when his boyfriend picked up, "I miss you."
-{ ♔ }- It’s 3 AM and Koushi is lying in bed, gaze on the white ceiling above him, he hasn’t been able to sleep, the time difference is getting to him.
It’s 3 AM when his phone vibrates with an incoming call.
He picks up and his voice is heavy with tiredness, sadness and feelings he can’t quite put into words, “Yeah?" And then— then he hears Tobio’s voice and he feels like everything suddenly lights up, like the cars driving by his window are like flashlights shining inside his room with the rhythm of his heart. He feels like he himself lights up, like there’s a flame igniting in his chest and spreading throughout his entire body, filling his cold limbs with heat and happiness.
I miss you.
Is what his boyfriend says instead of a greeting, and Koushi feels like a bucket of ice water has been dumped over his head, like a cold gust of wind blew out the flame inside him.
"I miss you too.”, he mutters and he feels the bad feelings take over again. He doesn’t want to regret going away, to another country, for college and yet he finds himself doing it again and again, over and over. He thinks he should have stayed home, just stayed there in Miyagi, stayed with Tobio.
"I'm sorry.”
