' mirana, i don't understand... a champion, yes, but do you truly think i am capable of this? '

"…is that rhetorical? the species of the snake would have to be taken into account, where they bit, your proximity to medical assistance… sorry, just too many variables."
' it was supposed to be taken figuratively, actually. '

' is it always this cold here? i could've sworn it was summer an hour or so ago.'

"Way i see it, doll," Bucky said quietly, "Dreams are just dreams. Sometimes it’s better to just let them fade. Easier.”
' but the dreams are a part of you if you let them fade, you're letting go a part of yourself.
you should never want to forget a part of yourself. good or bad. '
nealan:
"i would love if this place would not try to kill us for — oh, i don’t know, a day?"
in his six years, he’s had more near death experiences than he’d like to count. or probablycould. though neal is sure he’d rather fall off of an impressively dizzying staircase again than face down a mountain troll. really? a troll? of all things? it’s almost ridiculous enough to inspire hysterical laughter.
but as much as he complains, his features remain schooled straight. things like being a royal pain can wait until after they are clear of danger. he throws one arm out to make sure that she won’t go after the thing, or potentially give away their temporary shelter.
"are you alright?"
' but that would be asking too much, now wouldn't it? '
alice was out of breath from running and the adrenaline that was now coursing through her veins. at times like this she wondered why she was sorted into gryffindor. it's not like she enjoyed danger. in fact, she would rather avoid it. she would rather enjoy a cup of tea than run into a mountain troll in the corridors.
but at least she wasn't alone. they were going to have to get out of this together. although, she didn't quite appreciate how he held her back like she was going to go out and do something stupid. either that or he was protecting her, and she didn't need protecting right now.
' i'm all right, you don't have to treat me like im so fragile. '

alice had once again gotten herself lost. however, this time she wasn't the only one. the young girl caught sight of another with long platinum blonde hair wandering about in the distance.
watching the girl quietly for a moment, she eventually stepped out of the shadows and called after her.
' hello! are you lost too? '
