Ok I was gonna do Finnley but someone else sent in Finn, so I’ll pick Firewall!!

You know what’s really cool about her is that she started out as a smug, conceited speedster who needs to follow and enforce the rules. While the rule following remained, Firewall started to take on more influence from a knight/paladin aesthetic, which makes her very interesting as a Decepticon. You’d think the good guys are the only ones that can be noble, but Firewall truly believed what she was doing was for the good of her home. It was her important mission to help bring order to a chaotic, war-torn Cybertron, no matter what role she may play in it. (As long as she doesn’t sacrifice herself - she’d rather live for Cybertron than die for it.) It was this desire to do the right thing that lead her to soon leave the Cons once she discovered the truth about them, and join the Autobots.
Ok, part of the reason this started is because I chose Kari Wahlgren as her voice actress, in the style she voices Saber, a knight (?) from an anime I never watched. They speak nearly the same way, too!
It also works for a medieval au where the knight and the prince/general (Starscream) are secretly in love >w>
