“That’s probably because they are minerals.” To the best of her knowledge, that is, though it won’t surprise her at all if there’s some alien world or other that has the exception to that rule. But right at the moment she’s not so much fussed on whether her statement is right or wrong as about gathering up her little jar of Earth stones and hiding it protectively behind her back.

“Oh no you don’t ... if you want to swallow some gastroliths, go find your own!”

      There’s a pause in his thoughts, eyes looking over her intently.      Of course he respected her. He had, from the moment she jumped first.      Though… there had been times when he felt like he didn’t know her.       Surely she could say the same about him. They’d been through so       much together, to say the least. But the one thing that never wavered in       it all, was Tobias’ devotion to Tris. His ardent thoughts, feelings, and need      to be near her. To have that safety and home that she had created in his      heart.       “Careful, Tris.” Four spoke, softly. Evenly. It was not a threat, but a        reminder.
