“Mine, unfortunately, were not,” he said with a small laugh, wrapping his arms around her waist, “and yet it seems the darkness always fades whenever you arrive.” And it did, the cryptic dreams dissipating like ghosts at dawn, but even after all these years he still felt his heart skip a beat every time he looked at her, as if this too was merely a dream that would slip away upon waking.
“Sometimes it’s hard to believe you’re real,” he murmured with a grin, mischief twinkling in his green eyes as he leaned forward, her hair like a silken veil against his cheek as he whispered in her ear, “until I remember how heavy you are,” as he lightly pinched her behind.
“Celeborn,” She sighed, rolling her eyes though her tone was gently as she reached to kiss his cheek before standing once more, the long robes of her dress framing her body.
“You are troubled- something plagues your thoughts though you are unsure as to its meaning.”
