just pulls him into a really fierce hug out of nowhere tbh
“…!”
Despite the abruptness of her appearance, of her embrace, he returned the gesture almost immediately… needing only a few moments to properly register everything that had just taken place, but nevertheless squeezed her tightly in response. Honestly terrified to let go, out of fear of the nonexistent possibility that this was more of a long forgotten dream… one he recalled having time and time again, despite being unable to recognize the face of the brunette standing before him in those fleeting moments of unconsciousness. She was always so close, and yet, at the same time, far enough away in the darkened reaches of his mind to be remembered. And now, that she was here. That she was real. Holding him close to her smaller form, flush against one another. Pulse to pulse. Heartbeat to heartbeat. Warmth to warmth. But, more importantly, she wasn’t slipping out of his fingertips… vanishing into thin air. Into nothingness.
Not this time, especially now when her name was fresh on his lips… having not been uttered for ages. How long had it really been? Three years? Four? Five? He couldn’t be bothered to stress the complications and confusion. That could wait for a time when Yosuke’s lips hadn’t found their way atop Hamuko’s head, an exchange that held far more meaning that the words he couldn’t find it in himself to say. So, he relied on what he was best at.
Feeling.
Emotion.
Longing.
And channeled it into one unspoken message to be transferred.
’…I missed you so much… and I’m sorry… I’m so sorry I forgot.’
