as a sign of affection towards one another, geovishaps will either link their tails together or head bunt each other while exchanging bits of their powers/energy. though they are loosely connected through their ties with the ley-lines, such an exchange promises to ‘always carry a piece of you with me’ and ‘even if we may separate, i give myself to you to be with you always’

sharing powers in such a way is much more intimate way compared to simply lending a hand during battle. it’s usually reserved for ‘family’ or those they deem as irreplaceable.  

memories can erode and rocks crumble with time, but they will always be with one another in some way. 

note: another use for this with elemental creatures that feed on the ley lines and natural energies to sustain them, a large amount of power can be used to cure or heal injuries ( similarly to how morax tried to halt retuo’s erosion by giving them some of his elemental powers/life force ). doing so extensively weakens the other but for the sake of one dear to them, it is a small price to pay.

Here’s my contribution to sinday. His original humanoid form was based off the first thing he saw: Morax. His body doesn’t exactly have the same anatomical needs as humans do. For example, he doesn’t really need to ‘eat’ since he just absorbs energy from the Ley Lines. So, no digestive tract. 

This form is much more like a ‘doll’ for the sake of convenience rather than stomping around as a giant dragon. 

And since geovishaps come from the earth itself, he has no need for genitalia. While, he of course, later learns about human reproduction and anatomy from millennia of seeing them, he never saw need for any additional parts. 

To him, this form was already optimal and perfect for his needs.

Modern day bode is neutral about Valentine's Day. They probably receive a lot of chocolates from their students tho because professor bode is popular. They end up sharing the chocolates with friends lol

Idol AU Retuo ends up having to write songs especially for that day because it's what the public demands. They're pretty jaded here as a performer lmfao

Gift giving or acts of service. They enjoy buying or picking things up that reminds them of the other person. He's a devoted dragon and would love to fulfil any wishes their partner desires.

Or also mustering enough self control to take hold of their crumbling psyche in order to allow the person they cared about to seal them away into a deep, dark prison of their mind where they will be left alone with nothing but their fractured sanity for countless millennia. You know, just the little things.

😉 What are my muse’s fetishes/kinks?

Hmmmmmm.....probably a control kink. Something like edging and marking to fulfil that internal dominance/possessive desire. In cases where they get into it, teasing their partner would be something they'd enjoy. The knowledge that they're the ones who's making the other person feel this way, and that they're the only one that can do this is a nice feeling.

In cases where and when they feel really, really comfortable and safe around their partner they will allow himself to be controlled/dominated by them.

in the old days when rex lapis walked alongside mankind and liyue was still young, the geo dragons were a common sight. the lord of vishaps who had ruled the lands from tianqiu valley to qixing pools was also revered by ancient humans as one of the many who had protected the lands.

over time, mankind had forgotten such ties with the geo dragons. humans became greedy and hunted them. 

younger geovishap “hatchlings” have no recollection of the days when their gentle king ruled their lands, let alone the paradise that existed millennia before the birth of ‘teyvat’. for they are too young and history is only passed down through those vishaps who had survived the millennia underground after their liege had fallen. 

these younglings only know of human aggression towards their kind since their awakening. sights of their kin being hunted for their shell, their bones that have been hardened by the earth’s embrace. for when the familiar sights of such beings appear, they have no choice but to act in their own defense. 

after all, the law of the land dictates that only the strong survive. 

and if they don’t, who will be here when their wise king awakens from his long slumber?

He’s hardworking, goal-oriented, patient and generally kind to those he liked. Retuo has a very good work ethic that got him far up the corporate ladder when he was working for Kang Tao. 

Retuo had no issues with the more ‘controversial’ methods used by the company. For the sake of advancement, sacrifices must be made. He was willing to turn a blind eye to the negligence and scandals so long as he was able to keep working.

As such, Retuo was known to his colleagues as a workaholic and a perfectionist. He was hard on himself and others as well, expecting the same level of work from them. Which caused friction between him and some of the other engineers. 

After the incident in Hangzhou, his neuroticism increased. It gave way to his untrusting nature and sense of paranoia that he greatly exhibits in Night City. He becomes more of a recluse, opting to stay in the labs than socialize with his new colleagues or others. 

His malfunctioning firmware also plays a large role in his increased negativity. For example, in certain dialogue options Retuo reveals that he has been betrayed by someone he held dear in Kang Tao.

Though this is false; it's only because of his condition that he misremembers the incident. He ends up creating scenarios and imaginary enemies that aren’t truly there. 

He also tends to be a little forgetful of things at times.

⇖ - Is your muse attached to any particular weapon or piece of equipment they own?

My headcanon is that Retuo was the original wielder of The Unforged ( and no, it’s not because the Chinese name is a reference to The Return of the Condor Heroes!!! ). It is said to be one of the Seals that keeps the ‘evil dragon’ at bay and repels evil/malevolent creatures. 

As it has been mentioned a few times, it is due to the Good left in Retuo that Morax ( and co ) was able to Seal them away. As swords are made from ore, they contain Retuo’s essence/memories that continues to suppress the Eroded Retuo. 

It was a gift as a sign of their friendship/alliance forged by the Lord of Stone himself. 

Retuo gave the sword back to Morax as part of their plan to seal them away. 

“Yet another gift from you to me; this one returns these cherished memories in hopes that one may still be able to serve thee when all else has been ground to dust.”

Being an elemental creature, they literally draw their powers from the Ley Lines. But otherwise, not really.

Wuxia novels and dramas, hahaha. Are you surprised? I don’t have a particular show in mind. But Retuo/Azhdaha does wield the 長刀 ( changdao ) or sometimes known as 苗刀 ( miaodao ) depending on who you ask which is generally what you see palace guards wielding.

They wouldn't. He's a gentledragon, after all! If Rt/Azh were dating someone who they found thought it would be necessary, they would go through the regular steps of human courtship. If sex was something that was on the table that the other person wanted, they'd wait until the other person showed signs of readiness.

Note: Because it's you, I'm doing this through a rezhong lens. As such, Zhongli blogs who read this need not comply.

As mentioned in my previous posts in the past, as an elemental being with no biological desire or hormones to influence them, sex was never something that mattered to Retuo. Though watching over the delicate lives of humans over time invoked a curiosity in them. Whether it was done for the sake or procreation or pleasure, it seemed that humans would always enter such a blissful state while in the act.

Who else would they ask other than the one closest to them. It was clumsy and often lead to them laughing at one another as bumbling hands mapped over bodies. Retuo who was unable to feel such pleasure, found himself taking joy from the hitch in Morax's breath when their fingers grazed too roughly over sensitive skin. 

He enjoyed himself in a different way than their companion had. They had both enjoyed it albeit in a more unorthodox manner, accompanied by laughter and hints of embarrassment.
