Well, this was... Interesting. It had been so long since her own journey that she’d nearly forgotten the days of catching low-level Pokemon and struggling to keep them from fainting before you got to a Pokemon Center. Of course, she’d already had Shuppet for a few years, so he hadn’t been as weak as the Pokemon most started their journey with. Now she dealt with high level trainers, ones ready to put their skills up against one of the best.
Still, seeing the boy struggle with the lower-level Pokemon was interesting. She smiled good-naturedly and wondered for a moment if she should just go the other way. He might not like her interfering, even if she only wanted to help. But a few more minutes of watching him had her walking over to him, Banette following close behind. He didn’t seem to be having much luck and she didn’t want to leave him here. Maybe she could teach him a few tricks. You didn’t need to fight a Pokemon to get it to come with you. Shuppet, now Banette, had taught her that.
“Hi! I’m Phoebe!”
“You look like you’re having some trouble. Want some help? I have a few tricks up my sleeve!” Phoebe, you don’t even have sleeves.
