“Well, just when I thought I was the best ever, turns out that award goes to my big brother,” she teased. “Best brother ever and also one of the world’s greatest fathers, but I concede defeat with grace.”
Avery grinned as she came up to her brother, holding up a plastic container of cupcakes for him that had little plastic “happy father’s day” decorations on them. In her other hand was a wrapped up gift which she offered to him as well.
“Oh and mama wanted me to invite you to a cook out she’s throwing in secret for Papa.”
