Eridan ducks to the side, evading a second tail-slap to the mug. He learns quickly from his mistakes. Moreover, he has a better read on his opponent now that they're in the thick of it. Cronus is all brawn, making him susceptible to artfulness. Eridan may not play dirty, but that doesn't mean he plays fair.
He's had ample time to make up his mind.
Eridan smiles, showing his razor-point teeth. Sweeping his foot under Cronus, he pushes the toe of his boot behind his bad leg, tripping him. The entire flooring reverberates with his fall.
"You were gettin' too cocky." His voice is a gauzy whisper. Then, he's on top of Cronus, pulling him back by the hair to expose his neck. If he were allowed his cutlass, this fight would end here. Still, something has to give. If he couldn't slit his throat, he would find another way to leave an impression.
"Hm, let's see." Eridan held Cronus' head in place with one hand and let the other trail down his face. He could sense Dualscar watching from the corner of his eye. "Since you despise your heritage, you probably have no use for this." He said, dragging his claws across Cronus' eyelid. And with the same insouciance, one might attend to washing their hands, Eridan pulled and twisted the violet orb until it popped wetly from its sleeve and into his palm.
Cronus was patiently waiting for everyone to arrive, and eventually for Eridan to arrive. The teleport set up in the fighting area was separate from the one the guest had. Cronus himself was sitting on the ground, dressed in typical attire for boxing. With more exposed skin, you could easily see his body under all that flare he dressed himself up in, which was littered with scars, some more purposely there as decorations. He was texting away on his phone, quietly aware that Eridan had arrived and not saying anything.
Dualscar himself was sitting off to the side of the "arena", sitting in a chair next to Grand Highblood. He was staring hard at Cronus, frowning, glancing at Eridan once he arrived, his frown not leaving his face once. He looked unimpressed and irritated to be there. Highblood next to him, casually using the slightly shorter man's shoulder as an armrest.
Cronus didn't really bother to get up to greet any of the guests, leaving it up to his Matesprit and Moirail to do it for him. Cronus, however, finally got up and extended his hand to shake Eridan's. The hand was wrapped up in cloth. He had a smug shit eating smile on his face.
